PFOX Cut Off From World Bank Cash

pfoxlogo

High school propaganda distributor Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays and Gays is no longer an eligible member of the World Bank’s Community Connections Campaign — meaning the ex-gay group will not receive matching funds for employee donations from the international capital giant. Explains one anonymous World Bank staffer: “If a charitable association supporting female genital mutilation, a pro-life organization or an association claiming it can turn black people white had wiggled its way in the CCC, The Bank’s management would have removed it immediately and issued an apology.” PFOX was initially included on the World Bank’s CCC list, just above PFLAG, as an effort to increase diversity. Heh?

The article you link to does not say the World Bank has changed its policy regarding the “ex-gay” group. It does anonymous quote World Bank staff commenting on what a terrible decision it is.

Well… the World Bank would rather kick out 26 NGOs from its matching program than openly say “we support our LGBT staff and PFOX does not match our values”. The World Bank is now officially an homophobic workplace and the gay community has to fight it any way it can.
