The man responsible for permanently inking up half of Aaron Carter‘s face is speaking out.
Celebrity tattoo artist Herchell Carrasco (a.k.a. RockRollG) tells TMZ that 31-year-old Carter invited him over to his house last Friday for what was supposed to be a standard tattoo session, but once he got there, everything went awry.
Carter allegedly told Carrasco he wanted the serpentine tattoo to cover his entire face. Carrasco managed to talk him out of that by encouraging him to only tattoo half his face.
“Before I tattoo anyone, I take into consideration their mental state,” Carrasco tells TMZ. “In Aaron’s case, I assessed the situation and I genuinely felt he was in a good place mentally to get tattooed.”
Carrasco says Carter smoked cigarettes and weed throughout their meeting, but other than that, he was not under the influence of any substances.
TMZ reports:
After Herchell added a crescent moon tattoo on the other side of Aaron’s face, he tells us he told Aaron he was done for the day. He says, “[Carter] wanted to keep going and I had to stop him. I couldn’t cover his whole face in a tattoo. I just couldn’t.” The good news — for Carrasco — he tells us Aaron ended up paying him $5k … so a whopping 2 grand more than they agreed upon.
On Saturday, Carter showed off his new ink to his 450K Instagram followers, along with the caption: “IM THE BIGGEST THING IN MUSIC RIGHT NOW. I CANT BE DENIED. FACT CHECK ME.”
Since then, he has set his Instagram page to private.

I wouldn’t worry about it, he’s a lost cause… He went on a show to remove his arm tattoos, only to cover them up again. Just give a few years, he’ll either end up in a mental institution or have an overdose before that.

That’s a ridiculous statement. Parents, Husbands, Wives, etc… have all been fooled by a family member that was a drug addict and hid it well. I’m not sure what’s going on with Carter, but claiming you knew he wasn’t on anything is a stretch considering there are drug addicts that hold jobs for years and their co-workers didn’t know.

Ink changes as you age. Botox and a facelift are going to be needed to keep Medusa looking like gravel and sand wrinkles when 40 + age hits him. There is a future for him on the Kardashian’s, next to Kenyan.

I’m not one for bashing ppl especially for the poor choices they make when mental illness may very well be playing a big part along with obvious drug use. That being said I think Aaron needs some serious inpatient treatment in a facility that offers dual diagnosis treatment. He’s definitely on a path to self destruction.
