Producers/DJ duo The Carry Nation (DJ Will Automagic + Nita Aviance) continue their slow, inevitable conquering of clubland with new track and video, “The Queens.”

Directed by Cathal OBrien and starring Sussi and Joey, the jittery, deliberately lo-fi vid feels like the aftermath of Kenneth Anger and Ryan McGinley colliding at 110 mph, and (at least) 120 bpm.

Consume it immediately:

Dark(ish) comedy Rough Night centers around a very muscular, very dead stripper and the five friends (Scarlett Johansson, Kate McKinnon, Jillian Bell, Zoë Kravitz, and Illana glazer) who have to deal with the aftermath of a lap dance gone desperately wrong.

The stripper is played by very-much-alive model Ryan Cooper, whom you can get acquainted with via his Instagram account.  Here are a few highlights to demonstrate what’s in store for you:

Meet Oscar Hernandez:

Walking onto the stage of America’s Got Talent, he admitted he was quite nervous — a fact that belies his intimidating build and scowling brows.

But.

The minute Sir Mix-A-Lot’s “Baby’s Got Back” starts blasting, any of your expectations or preconceived notions will go right out the window — and they’ll be replaced with twerking.

Deathly serious twerking.

“Family is gross, but it’s important.”

And that’s just one precious nugget of wisdom from the new season of Jill Soloway’s transgender drama Transparent. (No official premiere date yet, but… soon?)

This season finds the Pfeffermans getting overly spiritual and chomping on medical marijuana in the form of gummy bear edibles, yielding uncomfortable and paranoiac results.

Secrets shall be exposed, there will be bickering, and then everyone goes on a desert vision quest, giving shamanism a whirl to see how it grabs them.

And that’s all we got.
