Love Gavin, he’s an amazing performer with a kind heart who’s been out to most people for a lot longer than 2 years. He was one of the driving forces with getting Broadway people to go to the last march on DC.

@David Ehrenstein: Wow, he could pass for straight.
David Ehrenstein
@Andy: No one who sings Sonmdheim like that is interested in anything straight.
Andy
@David Ehrenstein: I know.

Sounds to me like he is really happy with his life and wouldn’t change it to play straight parts for anything. Good for him. The thing is, he could probably get the straight parts anyway…if he wanted that is.

I’ll buy a ticket to whatever this guy is in now. He deserves the support!

I would audition him…

He’s an amazing talent and I thoroughly enjoy his performances, but let’s be real here. He’s in theatre, not movies or TV – it’s a hell of a lot easier to be gay on Broadway than to make it on TV or on the big screen. Sadly, a lot of people just assume a guy is gay if he is in theatre. So while I applaud his talent and his contributions to the gay community, he’s really not going to lose out on any roles because he’s gay.

He’s pretty.
