Adult film star and model Tyler Sky has passed way.
Sky, whose real name was Hunter Freeman, who worked with several studios including Next Door Studios, FraternityX, Guys in Sweatpants, and more died of cardiac arrest on Sunday, though the news of his death has just been announced. He was 26 years old.
Freeman was discovered in New York on Sunday morning after suffering cardiac arrest. He leaves behind a wife and two children. His family says they are unable to afford a funeral. provide for the funeral for Freeman’s body. As such, Freeman’s brother has launched a GoFundMe Page to raise money to cover the cost of cremation and to have a goodbye ceremony.
Several friends and family members of Freeman have posted online statements in remembrance of him, including fellow performer, and founder of Colby Knox, Colby Chambers, who tweeted:

I’m sorry for the guy and his family’s loss. However, I remain disturbed that pretty much all “gay media” is still obsessed with sex workers and porn performers. What a tragic story. As the father of a son born with multiple heart defects, and who died at age 35, it’s easy to imagine an underlying, undiagnosed physical condition may have led to his demise. My prayers, concern, and meager contribution are for his surviving family. Whatever circumstances led to their lack of funds, that situation is appalling evidence of our society’s brokenness.

Here is his of his official obituary and funeral page. Full of religiosity and no mention of his porn career. it is unknown whether any post alluding to his porn life was censored, or whether no such messages were ever left. The same is true of his GoFundMe page. Although I had never heard of him, we recently came into a lot of money and wanted to contribute. However, they had already exceeded their goal of $4000 and the many religious postings, including one from the campaign’s founder (his brother) were a turnoff. I wonder if any of his porn colleagues and fans showed up to today’s memorial in North Carolina. And if they did, I wonder how they were treated.

The truly unfortunate part of this story is the individuals who have virtually no knowledge of the actual facts make a point of guessing. We all deserve a little bit of courtesy in life and in death. Because we all know someone who might have overdosed doesn’t mean that the same is true of Mr.Freeman.
Unfortunately, cardiac arrest is becoming a more common reality amongst young men. Many of those men are athletic, very healthy, fit and have virtually no experience at all with the party drugs that have been suggested. Steroids are whats causing the greatest concerns. Guys in their early 20’s and 30’s who would otherwise be overlooked as a traditional cardiac patient are experiencing medical reactions of men twice their age.
