Gay-for-pay adult star Tyler White has died. He was 25 years old.
White passed away last Tuesday at his mother’s apartment in North Providence, R.I., though news of his death has only just been announced. It is rumored that narcotics may have played a factor.
No matter how hard you try to show someone theres a better life without drugs they dont seem to care…its too hard to kick the habit and for that mindset I lost a really close friend of mine…#TylerWhite #RIP

Ya his mom found him on the couch overdosed and instead of calling 911 she called her other son to rush over to the house to hide shit before calling the cops. Its completely fucked. His funeral is Wednesday & hes being cremated.

White began his career with BrokeStraightBoys.com when he was 21. He was known for being heavily tatted on both left and right arms and speaking with a distinct Bostonian accent.
During his career, White performed in over two dozen scenes for BrokeStraightBoys and made appearances at a number of BSB Pride events. He also sold homemade tapes with “girls and guys and threesomes.”
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
Speaking to XBIZ, fellow BSB performer Ryan Fields describes White was “a great friend and person to be around.”
“He was one of the first models I’ve ever worked with and that was four-and-a-half years ago,” Fields recalls. “He was truly a cool guy.”
“I’m gonna miss him. Not a lot of people make a mark in your life, but for me he sure did. Great model, great guy, and he deserved a full life. He had a smile and shine that stood out.”

I met Tyler at a Pride event and he was the sweetest human being you could meet. No arrogance, inflated ego or attitude. He was open about his life struggles at different times, including his on and off substance abuse which is one reason he often had difficulty finding work either as a model or in a regular 9 to 5 job. Given his mother’s reaction to his overdose, if accurate, he did not have what anyone would call supportive parents.

My first reaction was “oh, s**t”. That was kinda a shock and it was a surprise for me, it’s the first time i have this reaction about the death of a porn actor.
I liked him… well i like his videos… he seemed a bit dumb (but i guess you could say that to most of gay for pay actors, and even pornstars) but his death makes me sad.
MarkyMarkNipple
That was my reaction to Dave Slicks death. I’m still sad and I’m not sure why. I just think OD is such a sad way to go.
AtlasRich
Damn How sad. So young. Drugs can be fun or a major problem. My condolences to his family and friends.
FYI if you have a situation like this by all means call 9-1-1 first and right away. They do not care about the drugs UNLESS it is a harm to the emergency crews. Their first priority is saving lives, they are not going to turn anyone into the cops. Also, if you have called 9-1-1 and they are treating you or someone; go ahead and tell them everything you took, when and how much. Again, they want to save a life and they need to know what has been consumed. Tyler’s OD and how the situation was handled is a good learning opportunity. Rest in peace.

Not going to happen…when you are overdosing your gay friends tuck you out of the way and hope you sleep it off, that way you don’t ruin the party

I’m a bit numb about porn Star deaths…I just always assume that they won’t make it to 30.
I mean, isn’t this the second announcement this week?
Curtispsf
I don’t care if he was a porn star or if he used/died from drugs. The death of young people who have not yet had an opportunity to truly live saddens me. All you queens wagging your bony fingers saying shame or it serves you right have no soul. By all accounts, he was a sweet man. No need to speak ill about the dead unless they were mean and vicious in life. He wasn’t. RIP.
Ukin Blome
I see no finger wagging here, mostly compassion and some questioning why.
nitejonboy
Poor kid, had his whole life ahead of him…shame that porn seems to attract so many young people with stars in their eyes but demons in their bellies…the afflicted find refuge there..it’s not right, there should be more support and easier ways to get by and make a living and friends..good bless you young man, rest in peace,,,

Every man’s death diminishes me. Makes no difference how that death occurs. We all come in struggle, and often live in struggle, but the lessons we learn, and the legacy we leave are the important facets of our life. I’m sorry that I didn’t know him better… I plan to mourn him better… RobtheElder

I know I’m going to catch hell for politicizing this kid’s death but let’s be honest; if he’d been black or brown Queerty wouldn’t mention it. When a minority kid gets involved in drugs, the answer is to place him in the criminal justice system. When a white kid gets involved in drugs it’s a national crisis.
QueerTruth
This would be a fair argument/discussion where it were not on top of another man’s grave.
There’s a time and place. But it’s not here.
Have some respect for dead and the loved ones he left behind.
DHT
I doubt it will be reported outside of the gay media if that makes you feel any better.

In my younger days in the 80’s and 90’s we had arrangements with friends that if anyone died that all the friends would come and “sanitize” the house by cleaning out anything that was gay related before family showed up. Including mags, statues, pictures, clothes, etc. a dear friend of mine was a drag queen when he succumbed to AIDS and boy were there a lot of gowns and jewelry we had to clean out. I miss him m terribly to this day. Thinking of you Kenneth Ann.

The opioid crisis recalls something Richard Pryor said about crack decades ago: “it become and epidemic once white people start doing it!”
WindsorOntario
Uh let’s try that again. It became an ‘epidemic’ once insurance companies figured out that, since many more white people have insurance, and treatment programs are licensed to bill that insurance and make tons of money, these programs are now the new gold mines that Big Pharma used to be. There were no programs for crack or meth because those people often have no money, and therefore no money can be made off them in the form of ‘treatment’.
Prohibition NEVER works. The government should have left these people and their damn pain pills the hell alone. Sure, there were addictions and misuse but hardly anyone was dropping dead like this. There was no plan to step people down from pain pills. Many just went straight out to the streets to get heroin instead. And now look what we have.
DHT
Sounds like this guy may have actually done the drugs himself instead of someone slipping them into his drink.

Met the kid at Providence Pride a few years ago. Sweet kid but dumb as a nail! RIP

I’m saddened, if not tremendously surprised.
I did some things circa late 1970’s to make some quick money.
Some relatively risky freakin stuff I was damn lucky to emerge from healthy somehow.
However, I did it to pay my college tuition. 50 bucks per semester hour in California, and still is.
There was some leafy stuff grew out of the ground in… ahem… some places.
It made me cough, laugh, jack off and raid the fridge. Then back to the books.
Some of the dropouts went the way of Tyler, disregarding the good things in moderation edict, throwing away their whole future in a man-made drug haze craze.
Young folks, the instant gratification apps on your phone are just as addictive as any drug I’ve seen.
Was that over the top? I can never tell.
