Well wasn’t that quite the beat down Lafayette and Jesus delivered to the hillbillies on last night’s True Blood? (Spoilers ahead.)
Picking up at the pool game they started in last week’s episode, this pair continues their romancing … until Jesus finds out Lafayette happens to deal drugs and blood. Just a tiny bump in the road, I’m sure.
And then there are the show’s other gays.
The fabulous royal gay vamps Russell Edgington (the vampire king of Mississippi) and Talbot aren’t exactly the best hosts, as they tend to lock their guests behind closed silver doors (and let the crazy ones tie humans to the bed posts). But at least they aren’t afraid to put their dysfunctional relationship on display in front of polite company.
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.

(sigh) Once again I regret not having the $$$ to be able to afford a movie channel. Make no mistake, eventually Lafayette is going to get wedged between Jesus and Eric, I just hope that Eric doesn’t kill Jesus in the process (although Jesus I’m starting to think might be a voodoo-priest of some sort).

Words cannot describe how much I adore this show. I look forward to it all day Sunday. It’s essentially dark humor at this point mixed in with oodles of gore, sex, and “AWW” moments- nothing heavy, just pure fun.
Also, I have a crush on Talbot this season. He’s adorable. I loved how he reacted when Bill, uh… sorta destroyed his roof.

I love that show, but- despite Alan Ball being the producer- it does sort of play into homophobia. Every gay character is a drug (blood) dealer or a vampire who thinks humans are expendable.

@MSZP
Sookie and to an extent Bill are the only characters on that show who aren’t made out to be Southern trailer trash or insane vampires.
This is done on purpose.
D'oh, The Magnificent
@PopSnap: Which is probably why they are the only two to come across as stuck up and dislikeable on some level or at least not as interesting.

That’s true too. I guess the whole show and cast are pretty southern gothic grand guignol.
