Madonna must be counting down the days to closing night of her Madame X Tour.
Last Thursday, she took a hard fall on stage at Le Grand Rex in Paris and was forced to hobble off stage with a cane.
According to The Sun, the singer “burst into tears and struggled to stand” after tumbling off a chair and had to be assisted off stage by one of her backup dancers.
As a result of the fall, Madonna was unable to take the stage for her Sunday night performance. Over the weekend, she took to Instagram to detail exactly what happened, writing:
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
Here I Am–Flesh and Blood. If only knees didn’t twist and cartilage didn’t tear and nothing hurt and tears never fell out of our eyes………But alas they do and Thank God for this important reminder that we are human. I Fell 2 nights ago on stage when a chair was literally pulled out from underneath me by mistake and I landed on the floor on my tail bone. I made it thru the show last night but just barely because I hate disappointing. However today even I can see that this broken doll held together with tape and glue, needs to stay in bed and rest for a few days so she can finish the tour with a smile on her face and in one piece.
The Madame X Tour has been plagued since it kicked off last September. Madonna has had to cancel 13 scheduled performances due to injuries, plus an additional two for production issues.
Throughout the tour, she has complained of “unbearable pain” due to a knee injury sustained during rehearsals and has tried various alternative treatments to help cope with it, including taking ice baths and washing her blood with oxygen.
The Madame X Tour is scheduled to close on March 11.

Hopefully with all this pain, she doesn’t get hooked on pain pills

Literally nobody cares Madge. Nobody.

I have never been a fan. But you are incredibly nasty, like so many of the bitter talent-less queens here.

Why does she refer to herself in the third person? What’s wrong with “I hurt my knee”? Perhaps She should try the royal third person, “We fell out of a chair.”

Respect the pronouns
Den
Uh…she doesn’t. She refers to herself as I and me through most of that post. The “she” is based on her metaphor of her body as a “broken doll”.
Reading comprehension issues?

@truthseeker
It’s sad when a right wing troll account is so desperate to attack trans people that it goofs up and puts up something not relevant to the post it’s responding to.
Awwww, nice try precious.

But I thought she was a fierce warrior female???

How do you wash your blood with oxygen?
Den
You don’t. It is one of those pseudo-scientific, new age procedures that is largely worthless. Kind of like “cleanses” where you pay a lot to make believe juices do what your kidneys and liver ans skin do naturally as a result of millions of years of evolution.
There IS a procedure where blood is washed with oxygen, but it is for carbon monoxide poisoning, not for bruises or joint injuries!
She’d best be seeing real doctors, and not relying on fools/quacks like Gwyneth Paltrow and Mehmet Oz.

It really is time to hang it up, flat screen. She was a dominate presence in music and pop culture for so long. But she was never a vocalist, and she no longer has much vision or much entertainment abilities. You’ll always be an icon, and you have all the money in the world. It’s time to sit down. But I guess when you’re a megalomaniac and you only feel joy when you’re surrounded by people paying attention to you you don’t have a choice but to keep on pushing.

You’re all compassionless, soulless, bastards and bitches. When you reach Madonna’s age (she and I are the same age) you will remember what a horrible person you were and maybe still are.
Den
Maybe it is time for her to hang up her toe shoes and concentrate on songwriting, production and studio work.
Lots of her peers have done that.

Madonna can undergo all the plastic surgery she can to look young but those will not change the fact that she’s biologically in her 60s. Her body is now frail and she can’t be performing the way her 30-year old self did. She needs to tone down her dancing.
Cam
She has these intense workouts and at a point the body needs a rest. Lady Gaga had a similar problem.
