Sam Hoyt ain’t playing politics with anti-gay blogger Joseph Izzuli. The New York State Assemblyman sent a letter to the anti-gay blogger demanding his campaign ads be removed from Izzuli’s detestable virtual digs.
I was deeply disturbed to read your recent spiteful and hate filled anti-gay views on your website… These comments were offensive to me personally and as an elected official who proudly represents my gay and lesbian constituents… Unless an apology for these comments and a pledge to refrain from such comments in the future is posted… I request that you remove all existing advertisements from your site.
In case you’re not aware of Izzuli’s politics, he’s one of those “I love homos, I hate homosexuality” types. You know, the ones who make absolutely no sense.
