Another steamy, dreamy episode of Riverdale is vying for your attention, this time promising a shirtless slumber party (omg) with Cole Sprouse’s Jughead and KJ Apa’s Archie.
The not-so-subtly gay subtext didn’t get past Fleshbot (link NSFW), who recap the scene in breathless detail in true teenybopper tradition.
“Who’s your daddy?”
Once again, that’s the prevailing theme of the second part of Daddyhunt‘s second season.
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
It finds cubs, bears, handymen, and free-floating, genre-defying sexyfolk hooking up, bickering about PrEP, and being uncompromisingly hairy.

Captain Obvious
I guess for the guys who only watch shows looking way too hard for gay content you’d think Archie and Jughead were having a slumber party. Jughead was actually homeless and living at a drive-in movie theater which got demolished so his bestfriend asked his dead if he could live with them. Jughead’s dad is a drunk who happens to lead a gang so… yeah. There’s nothing sexual going on.
They literally went out of their way to add the gay character who didn’t even exist in the comics until recently to the show so why waste time on this? There’s a gay couple and three gay males so far on the show.
