If you watched last week’s premiere episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race, you’ll have seen Ross Mathews wearing an eye-catching pink and black shirt. He designed it himself!
On his social media, Mathews revealed he’s collaborated with Canadian brand Mayer to create his first clothing line. The collection goes under the name ‘Ross X Ross’.

“What do you do when you can’t find anything to wear on @rupaulsdragrace? You design your own collection, silly! And that’s just what I’ve done!” he said.
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
“Each week, I’ll be wearing an outfit from my #ROSSxROSS collection designed in collaboration with @themayerofficial. And then the next day, the looks will be available to purchase! Pure fabulosity for all genders and all sizes! Supply is limited, so get yours NOW!”

It seems RuPaul is already a fan. He wore one of Mathews’ Mayer shirts on a recent appearance of Watch What Happens Live.

Several other designs are now available on the Mayer online store. Expect to see Mathews wearing them in the coming weeks.

I’m gay but I’m not THAT Gay.

they’re pretty, but I think the market will be for the more non-binary boys out there.
LumpyPillows
They do fit with the non-binary trend. While I find non-binary pronouns to be repugnant, I do fully support their non-traditional fashion choices. It is much more big city than the burbs…for sure.

Horrid, yet memorable! The little hands that made these rags are proof that blind child labor is an affordable alternative to wearing regular clothes.
bachy
I think they’re beautiful! If someone said they were from the new Harry Styles line I would believe it! That being said, I’m not sure where I could wear something like that except for my next Vanity Fair cover shoot, which, ahem, hasn’t been scheduled yet.

I’ll buy one when Ru asks me to judge Drag Race. Funny thing, I saw Ross shopping at the H&M in Palm Springs not too long ago. I guess Ru told him “no more H&M” doesn’t apply to just contestants.
LumpyPillows
It really is a softer Mr. Turk style. Very Palm Springs gay.
ScottOnEarth
I love Ross but he and Drew Barrymore are *always* looking for ways to get their audience’s money. They never stop with the “BUY THIS” thing.
LumpyPillows
It really is women’s clothing in men’s sizes. Back in the day, a long time ago, we used to shop women’s to find fun looks for the club. This is more of that.
missvamp
right? this makes me think of old, outdated dillards stuff from the late 70s. i agree with @scottonearth. ross & drew are always trying to sell something dumb. this falls under that.

Oooooooo, somebody’s been hittin’ the Ozempic.
