Brent Taylor, the 15-year-old LGBT book blogger who is The Awesome, whipped up a list of his ten most memorable queer fiction characters. I know this kid is smarter than I — and that we’d be friends if I was, uh, still in high school — because he reads both Tom Dolby and Candace Bushnell.

Nightshade was amazing.
I also love Thom Creed from Hero by Perry Moore- a book about a gay superhero that is really becoming extremely popular. A Bravo show might be made about it, if I recall correctly.
