OK, good for coming out as a PWA. What else you got?

  • Bromancer7

Hmmm, I’m really conflicted here. This being Queerty I know I’m supposed to be a holier-than-thou shithead in the comment section. But do I rip him apart for being transgender or for his irresponsibility for not using condoms and catching HIV? Or should I just go right to calling him a bareback whore?

Help me out resident Queerty comment shitheads. What’s the best plan of attack here?

@Bromancer7: How about a four year career and three world tours while remaining virtually unknown? Not sure which one of his/her situations is worse.

BTW, anyone know if this an MtF or an FtM?

  • Stache99

@Bromancer7: Wow. He does have all the qualities that the they hate the most so I do see your point.

    Hiv pos.
    Not ashamed.
    Transgendered.
    Black and not twinky cute.
    Tattood.

What’s Queerty’s policy about showing pictures of women’s bare breasts, because I think this is the first time I’ve seen them here? Can we look forward to pictures of other women’s breasts?

    Who?

@Bromancer7: You don’t need to ‘rip into’ anybody for being HIV positive. Attitudes like that only spread the very stigma that this artist is attempting to address. The more people feel there is a climate where HIV can be openly discussed, the more easily the disease can be prevented through the wider uptake of HIV testing and interventions like PrEP.

I keep telling myself ONE DAY Big Freedia will appear on this page instead of excess baggage such as this. I mean really, how much more demeaning could this article have come off. If the kid has done world tours then there HAS to be something about him other than HIV that could have been reported on. His music and rap style perhaps? Along with a more uplifting picture wearing a shirt (damn the poor black queen with HIV transgender who will run out of Walgreens with as much makeup stuffed in their also stolen purse b/s, which is ALL this picture translates).

I make no apologies for calling this article (as in the way it is being presented) tasteless.

@Bob LaBlah: Coming from the guy who is a big supporter of bareback gay porn… I find that a bit ironic.

  • Bob LaBlah

@Giancarlo85: Love you. Now go wash out your panties with the bar of soap before the other fellows come home and you lose your angle of the floor. The late graffiti/abstract artist Jackson Pollock would be jealous of the murals you leave in the seat. And even more so at how effortlessly you create them.

@Random: Uh oh, you mentioned PrEP as a tool for HIV prevention. Queerty comment etiquette dictates I must refer to you as a “bareback-loving Truvada whore who loves to take multiple loads up the ass every night of the week”, otherwise you’d simply wear a condom like everyone else and not even mention that four-letter vulgarity.

Sorry, no insult intended, but I’m just following the rules around here.

  • Random

@Bromancer7: How about following the rule of being a decent and compassionate person?
