A homophobe in New York has learned the hard way why you shouldn’t pick a physical fight with someone who is bigger and stronger.
Daniel Lennox-Choate and his husband, Larry Lennox-Choate, were at a bodega in SoHo over the weekend when a man approached. First he started shouting antigay slurs at them. Then he threw a punch at Daniel.
Unbeknownst to this jerk, both Daniel and Larry, who were married in 2013, graduated from West Point Military Academy. In addition to that, Daniel served in Iraq and Afghanistan.

How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
“He left covered in his own blood with his tail between his legs after I handled the situation and tossed him in the street like the coward loser he is,” Larry wrote on Facebook
“We refuse to be victims and are thankful we can defend ourselves, but are saddened by the fact that idiots like this guy might not pick two guys who went through Plebe Boxing next time,” he continued.
Police say that no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
The incident happened just days after three homophobes stormed into a West Hollywood Starbucks and left covered in coffee sweet iced tea, thrown on them by none other than Leslie Jordan.

Read this in the NY Post yesterday (sorry, I know, Post – booo). All I can say is GOOD! Pity instant karma couldn’t have shown up and thrown the assailant and his bike into the path of a speeding cab.
Kangol
These warriors bashed back, and good for them.
That’ll teach some homophobes to think twice before f*cking with the wrong LGBTIQ person!
Ladbrook
Too bad there wasn’t some iphone or go-pro vid available for viral posting. Guys like that should be named and publicly shamed – partly as punishment, but mostly as a warning to others. 😉
And btw… cute couple!! Congrats and best wishes to both of you!!
Jesse Erickson
Well what did he expect?

Always ASK…are you ex-military? (Those guys get paid to train to protect themselves and their comrades-at-arms)
Jose Irwin
We need more gay guys like them to kick ass!, Nothing better than a bully getting punch in the nose.

When you all find out the attacker was a crazy black homeless man you’ll want the story to disappear. Not p.c.
Avery Alvarez
Good. I want to see this happen to more homophobes.
Violence is the only language these freaks understand
Curty
What a great story! We must fight back against our enemies.

Yesss! About time we heard about some gay men who act like men. No surprise that it’s married men, who have respect for themselves and love for each other, who stand up to this. Courage and a few well-delivered blows are preferable to flowery speeches delivered at some useless candle-light anti-violence march.

@Jacob23: That you assume so much about this couple speaks volumes about your own insecurities as a gay man. For all you know they could be the queeniest of queens with an open marriage. Even so, it wouldn’t diminish the impact of their actions.
GG
Heroes!

@mike1982: LMAO ! Real threatening. Can’t believe that couple even felt the need to publicize it.
Stache99
@SeeingAll: Ha. This thing with pencil arms doesn’t look like he could threaten a fly. Still I’m glad they took care of the loud mouth the way it needed to be done.
SeeingAll
@Stache99: I suppose, yes. If the story is really as reported. (I’m all for beating up gaybashers, just that I’m skeptical with this account).

Good for them. You know i’m not typically jealous or envious of couples but damn, both these guys are really cute, but not so hot where it’s intimidating.
Billy Budd
I am so proud of them. This piece of news made my day.
Giancarlo85
@Jacob23: You are mentally ill. Feminien gay men stand up for themselves. And what the fuck do you do? You hide in the closet all the time and you would never even defend yourself. How do you know how these two men are like in person? They could be very open and out.
SeeingAll
@Billy Budd: Ugh, dude….get a life.
BigG
These gay men are awesome. As gay men we are targets because we are perceived as weak. But we must be strong and better than the bullies. Don’t be a victim.

@Jacob23: The voice of the QueerTea Party speaks.

For the first, and probably last, time in my life, I am glad that there are gays in the military.

@Jacob23: Says mister sit at home, in the closet, jerkin off to porn and pretending to be straight so his daddy won’t kick him out of the house!
You again, assuming everything and knowing nothing! Gay men at like men…You’re such an ass! Every day gay men fight off attacks from homophobes you idiot.
These guys are awesome. They did a great job and I have a great deal of respect and admiration for their service. You are a complete dickhead…as you have demonstrated in your previous postings.

I love hearing stories like this. The more fag bashers that get beat up like this the better. I just wish I could be there when they explain to their girlfriend how they got injured.
Jacob23
TDH1980/JaneCharlene85 and his sockpuppet “YouAreKiddingMe”: I didn’t say one word about effeminacy or feminine mannerisms. I don’t know how these guys walk or talk and I don’t care. They acted like honorable men when they stood up to that basher. And I don’t think it is any coincidence that this is a married couple. When you are living a positive life and are respecting yourself, you are less inclined to accept the actions of bigots.
JaneCharlene85, the sad loner who is now in his 4th decade of life, prolly would have sat there and let the basher hit him, and then later eroticized the event, fapping furiously to cast off his shame.
