It’s no surprise Amy Schumer is a big fan of Lily Tomlin, but Saturday night’s Critic’s Choice Awards revealed the extent of Amy’s adoration.

But let’s start at the beginning — if you thought the Golden Globes were three sheets to the wind, all we can say is the Critic’s Choice Awards better have had a designated driver.

Amy Schumer won two well-deserved awards — Best Actress in a Comedy and the MVP award for her killer year in comedy — and you can be sure she was paying multiple visits to that open bar.

Her first speech for MVP was good and saucy, featuring such self-deprecating gems like “This is so boring, I’m so sorry you guys. Who cares?! Shut up, Amy.”

But her second speech, accepting her Best Actress in a Comedy award for Trainwreck, is when things really got interesting.

Following a confusing bit with one of her shoes, Amy tells the crowd that Lily Tomlin should have won, plus one more tidbit.

“First of all, Lily should have won, and I would love to go down on you.”

Well that’s direct.

Trainwreck producer Judd Aptow was also notably tipsy while introducing Schumer, but not before he addressed losing the Golden Globe for Best Comedy or Musical to the decidedly non-comedic The Martian.

“I’ve got Matt Damon staring at me right now, after that whole ‘Golden Globe comedy thing.’ We only have one award, Matt — that’s all we get. I’m like a nerd on the schoolyard and you stole my milk money.”

These two must have been a hoot at the after parties.
