This artist turned Nintendo characters into sexy gay bears — and it’s perfect

“Now there’s a mushroom I’d really like to sink my teeth into.”

Yes, the searingly unfunny repartee writes itself when it comes to the work of Argentinean artist Leonardo Gutierrez. He’s obsessed with Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros and compulsively turns out pieces that turn Mario, Luigi, Pikachu and Kirby into brawny, big-bellied bears.

He’s also the driving force behind Oso Apparel, which he describes as “bear apparel for bear-lovers, geeks and fashion-forward folk.”
