A disgruntled mayoral candidate in Buffalo produced a flyer attacking a pro-marriage-equality Republican state senator that featured two gay-porn actors about to have sex.
“How far would a politician go to get in your pants?” reads the tagline emblazoned next to two Corbin Fisher models. “For his gay marriage vote Mark Grisanti recieved over $750,000. Sometimes they’re political whores.”
While the mailer hasn’t been sent (yet), it apparently has been circulated around Buffalo-area bloggers, who identified Matthew Ricchiazzi, a onetime mayoral hopeful, as the mastermind behind “The Committee To Save The Erie County Republican Party.”
Ricchiazzi hasn’t commented on his handiwork, but there’s no mystery about how he got his hands on the X-rated photos: He came out as bisexual in a public letter announcing the end of his campaign.
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
According to ArtVoice, Ricchiazzi’s beef stemmed from Grisanti’s involvement in a dust-up outside the Seneca Niagara Casino in February.
Yesterday, a young Buffalonian named Matt Ricchiazzi inserted himself into the Grisanti matter. Ricchiazzi is a relatively recent Cornell graduate, and has somewhat famously failed to make the ballot in just about every political race he’s run.
He’s had some good ideas for Buffalo under the auspices of his changebuffalo.org, but the perception in the political community is that he wants a fast track to political power without doing much grassroots-type legwork, like becoming a committeeman, for instance. He was, at last check, a supporter of Senator Grisanti, even after the passage of same-sex marriage legislation last year.
However, Ricchiazzi’s most recent known employment was with Seneca Holdings, LLP, the Seneca Nation’s investment entity. I don’t know whether he is a registered Seneca, but his “religious views” are listed at Facebook as “Haudenosaunne/Ongweo:weh”
Ricchiazzi could still send out the mailer before November’s election but he’d be foolish to. Corbin Fisher isn’t shy about lawyering up.

I sincerely hope Ms. Ricchiazz sends out the flier. Not only will he win the election for Mr. Grisanti but will provide Crobin Fisher with a tidy sum of money by copyright/trademark infringement. Goooooo, Ricchiazz!!!
