Equality Ally Kirsten Gillibrand Wins Senate Race In NY

With polls closed for almost two hours, media outlets are calling the Senate Race in New York’s 20 District for Democrat Kirsten Gillibrand, one of the strongest supporters of the freedom to marry in Congress. She was running for second time in two years, after taking up now-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton‘s seat in 2009.
