UPDATE: Fox Affiliate Airs Uncut Dick Pic During Breaking News Segment

Screen Shot 2014-03-18 at 2.26.19 PMWow! Fox News sure has come a long way from being the antigay, transphobic and generally awful news source you’ve come to know it as.

This morning, Denver Fox affiliate KDVR made a pretty racy and progressive move by showing a photo of an uncut, flaccid penis during a segment covering a helicopter crash in Seattle.

“Here’s another photo, you can see the smoke billowing up next to the Space Needle…an iconic image,” one reporter says while flipping through viewer-submitted photos on Twitter.

“That’s Edward Scissorhands,” he says, flipping through a photo of Edward Scissorhands, and then a burrito, before pausing on a photo of an admittedly hot dick hanging out of a man’s fly.

The man with the hot peen at his fingertips is unfazed by the whole ordeal, but his coworkers were a little more…impressed:

Update, 4:39pm: A whack job (pun intended) at KDVR has released a statement regarding the misplaced peen incident:

While reporting breaking news about the crash of the KOMO-TV helicopter in Seattle, Fox 31 Denver accidentally broadcast an offensive photo while scrolling live through a Twitter feed of pictures from the crash scene.

The photo was mistakenly broadcast by our control room. It did not come from the tablet many viewers saw being used by one of our anchors.

We apologize for the inadvertent broadcast of the image and we are taking immediate steps to prevent such an accident from happening again.

Offensive? Since when are penises “offensive,” and who is the moron who deemed such a photo “offensive”?

Inappropriate to be on a news broadcast, definitely. But offensive? Get off your penis-shaming high horse cock, Fox! The only offensive thing here is your reliance on Twitter as a breaking news source.

Nice dick. How much were the fines for Janet Jackson’s tit flash? I think actual televising of erect genitalia calls for about 10-times that amount.

  • robho3

    OMG that was hilarious!!!!

  • seaguy

I hope dick man was not purposely using the tragedy here in Seattle to somehow get his dick on tv. It was funny I must say and the fact that it was on a Fox station makes it even more ironic.

  • redcarpet

Would have been funnier had that been in his iPads camera roll.

Twitter is littered with that kind of stuff.

@rr2014: Good find that is the offending dick!

If you click on stop, then advance the action slowly, you will catch a few frames of the two women with their mouths wide open. Sure, they were surprised, but some wags might say, What are you doing, getting ready for sex?

I hate it when that happens. That’s why I clean up my computer before taking it in to get serviced. The computer that is:)

Has a funny curve in it. Though wonder exactly what the reporter was looking at before the broadcast. Bi curious perhaps?

Actually, they were just looking for twitter posts containing the word “komo” as it was a KOMO news helicopter. The post with the penis had the word “komo” in it…I think he meant “como”. Looking at the post associated with the photo, the guy is not the best at spelling…

I think the anchors just picked a bad time to search twitter!
