On March 9th 2005, South Park creators Trey Stone and Matt Parker aired an episode called “Trapped in the Closet” in which Stan learns the secrets of the Church of Scientology right before Tom Cruise, John Travolta, and R. Kelly not-so-subtely lock themselves in Stan’s closet. According to former Scientology executive Martin Rathbun, the church didn’t like this episode so much and began digging through Stone and Parker’s garbage to try and find some PR dirt on the two soon afterwards.
Rathburn claims to have a 2006 letter from the church that details the “PRC” (public records check) conducted by the church on Stone, Parker, and their friends. He even says that the Church went so far as to dig through their trash (or as the church calls it “auditing special collections”).
According to The Village Voice:
“Scientology’s standard procedure would be to put its private eyes on a complete check of these people and their property, legal, and other public records. If they owed taxes, or had been in messy divorces, or had been arrested, Scientology would soon know about it.”
You have to wonder what could possibly shame the two men who once featured a BDSM master shoving all of Paris Hilton into his ass.
Plus if the church gets this touchy over people implying that Tom Cruise is gay, are they also going through the trash of Tyler Spiers and Mike Rose, the guys who created Planet Unicorn?

This is just the beginning of what Scientology does to its critics. I’ve been followed home by their staff, had threatening letters sent to my boss and dean of students when I was in college informing them that I was a domestic terrorist, and so much more.
They’ve also got some interesting things to say about homosexuality. Gays and Lesbians rate a 1.1 on this scale of emotional development. All of this is referenced by The Science of Surival, by L. Ron Hubbard. I know i’ve got some assorted Policy Letters and Technical manuals (Green Books) around here somewhere, but I can’t be arsed finding them right now, so SoS it is:
About people lower than 2.0 on the Tone Scale: “Rather than give psychotics such treatment it would be far kinder to kill them immediately and completely” (p. 157)
“There are only two answers for the handling of people from 2.0 down on the Tone Sale, neither one of which has anything to do with reasoning with them or listening to their justification of their acts. The first is to raise them on the Tone Scale by unentrubulating some of their theta by any one of the three valid processes. The other is to dispose of them quietly and without sorrow.”(pp 170-171)
“No social order which desires to survive dares overlook its stratum 1.1’s. No social order will survive which does not remove these people from its midst.”(p 103)
“The only answers would seem to be the permanent quarantine of such persons from society to avoid the contagion of their insanities and the general turbulence which they bring to any order, thus forcing it lower on the scale, or processing such persons until they have attained a level on the tone scale which gives them value.” (p 145)

Some people don’t care if you know that they once claimed bankrupt, that you once were arrested and that you may like to suck dick every so often. Behold the power of those that cannot be silenced because of someone elses morality. It’s awesome. In this country if you call someone gay it is not illegal. It is the same as calling someone straight. Ms. Cruise will just have to move to Germany.

The problem that the Scientologists don’t understand is the same problem that some people down south don’t get.
If people aren’t ashamed or embarrassed there is nothing you can to to them.
People don’t go into Scientology because they are stable or happy with their lives. They all have some issues in their past and can’t understand that most people couldn’t give a crap if you rifled through their trash and found out that they had Thai Food three times last week.

All I need to know about scientology is that Cruise is a member.I already knew they were lunatics homophobic and the list goes on and on and on.But knowing Cruise is a member thats a whole new type of crazy for real.I do love seeing his Zombie stepford type wife Katie though im surprised she doesn’t smile and say I’m a robot can’t you tell ? 🙂

I read Scientology doesn’t tolerate homosexuality and the so-called “church” even claims they can cure people of it.
Of course, they look the other way when it comes to Tommy Boy and John Revolta because they make lots of money and Scientology requires a mandatory 10% tithe from members.
Without Tommy Boy and John Revolta, Scientology would be very poor.
Drew
Well, plus they keep records of their members “confessions” so Tommy and Johnny wouldn’t be able to leave without their secrets being leaked.

This really isn’t a laughing matter.
Scientology has a history of dangerous criminal behavior against critics.
In 1976, Scientology’s Guardian Office [intel bureau] conspired “To get P.C. [Paulette Cooper, author of “The Scandal of Scientology”] incarcerated in a mental institution or jail, or at least to hit her so hard that she drops her attacks” by framing Ms Cooper as a zionist anti-Arab terrorist bomber and harassing her with 19 different lawsuits. Scientologists call this practice “The Fair Game Law.”
The only reason the plan didn’t fully go into effect was because Scientology agents were caught burglarizing a courthouse pursuant to “Operation Snow White,” an effort to whitewash the public record founder L. Ron Hubbard. This operation is regarded as the single largest infiltration of the US government in American history, encompassing 5,000 agents of Scientology dispatched against 136 government agencies, various foreign government offices, and many other private organizations. Beyond infiltrating these offices by fraud, Scientology also illegally wiretapped targets and stole government documents.
Scientology was subsequently indicted for “criminal campaigns of vilification, burglaries and thefts…against private and public individuals and organizations.” The FBI seized and released 48 thousand documents containing evidence of these dirty tricks campaigns.
France has officially determined Scientology to be “a dangerous cult.” Belgium is considering bringing criminal charges against Scientology. Germany damn near banned Scientology.
Scientologists are not content to dig through your trash. Scientologists are criminally insane.
Carlos
You guys are not right. Scientology does none of the those things mentioned. You guys just have wrong information. Go on this and read what Scientology thinks of homosexuality. http://www.scientologymyths.info/homosexuality/

@Carlos:
http://blogs.villagevoice.com/runninscared/2008/04/jason_beghe_sci.php
Read this a story about an actor some of you here may have heard of named Jason Beghe very gay friendly actor who USED to be with scientology.Until that is… well the story speaks for itself. If these people are for us and with us they sure as hell have a funny and distorted way of showing it period.
Beghe says the proof that Scientology was no longer working for him came when he was almost killed in a car accident. After the L’s, he points out, that shouldn’t happen. “A clear isn’t supposed to have a car accident. You’re supposed to be practically immortal.”
To the Scientologists, the accident was an indication that someone was “suppressing” Beghe. So they pulled him in for more interrogation.
“What about this gay person you’re friends with,” Beghe says one official asked him, implying that somehow the gay friend was causing Beghe’s clear state to be sabotaged. When Beghe objected, he says the official responded, “Well, he’s gay.”
Only an excerpt there is indeed more.

3. Shameful!
As a former Scientologist I can attest to the fact that L Ron Hubbard’s (con artist, look him up) teachings are entirely homophobic. In fact he had a homosexual son who he completely disowned and who died under mysterious circumstances .
Comment left by one of many who would disagree with your stance about scientology Carlos.

@Carlos: And i personally know that not one person with the name Carlos has ever tasted pinto beans. How does that feel?

@Carlos: That link you have says Hubbard rescinded the policy. If that’s true, it’ll be in an HCO Bulletin/HCO PL, yes? I’ve got all my Red Books from 1950 to 1984, please tell me which policy letter has it. I just took a brief look through 1967,, and I couldn’t find it. I did however, see something in HCO BULLETIN OF 24 SEPTEMBER 1967 which indicates that seasickness is caused by being around Suppressive Persons.
If Hubbard issued a policy letter cancelling or modifying an earlier one, it would be in the Red Books. Since it is not, then in accordance with HCO POLICY LETTER OF 22 NOVEMBER 1967 “OUT TECH”, which states “If at any time a supervisor or other person in an org gives you interpretations of HCOBs, Policy Letters or tells you, “That’s old. Read it but disregard it,” or gives you a chit for following HCOBs or tapes or alters tech on you or personally cancels HCOBs or Policy Letters without being able to show you an HCOB or Policy Letter that cancels it, YOU MUST REPORT THE MATTER COMPLETE WITH NAMES AND ANY
WITNESSES ON DIRECT LINES TO THE INTERNATIONAL ETHICS OFFICER
AT WORLD WIDE.”
You are now required to report yourself to Ethics for promoting a website which is squirreling the tech. Nice try, OSA Goon. Enjoy your downstat. How about sending Louanne next time? I like her.
Note to other readers: Carlos is from Office of Special Affairs, the intelligence branch of Scientology. They have an entire division devoted to whitewashing their cult’s image on the internet. Unfortunately for him, I know the innards of Scientology well enough to expose his lies with actual evidence. If anyone else wants proof that the policy wasn’t rescinded in 1967 like the website claims, then the Red Books are all on Wikileaks, search for yourself.

@Carlos: Carlos is a Scientology tool. Xenu will reward him though with lots of wives on Planet X. Or is that Mormonism? I get my bullshit mixed up, sorry.

For people that supposedly do “counseling” they sure are an angry controlling bunch of nit wits. Oh yeah. I forgot. They are a church out for cash.
