The greatest cast ever assembled for TV has just gotten even more bewitching. Emmy Award-winning out actor Leslie Jordan has cast a spell on fans since he came to prominence as Karen’s frenemy Beverly Leslie on Will & Grace, but the pocket-sized scene-stealer will now face his tallest challenge yet when he’s forced to hold his own against the formidable female-heavy cast of the FX anthology series American Horror Story: Coven. Jordan is set for multiple appearances in the witchy third season of the Ryan Murphy-created hit, which will premiere October 9. While no details about his character have been revealed, Jordan will reportedly have scenes with headliner Jessica Lange.
The show’s official description reads:
American Horror Story: Coven tells the secret history of witches and witchcraft in America. Over 300 years have passed since the turbulent days of the Salem witch trials and those who managed to escape are now facing extinction. Mysterious attacks have been escalating against their kind and young girls are being sent away to a special school in New Orleans to learn how to protect themselves. Wrapped up in the turmoil is new arrival, Zoe (Taissa Farmiga), who is harboring a terrifying secret of her own. Alarmed by the recent aggression, Fiona (Jessica Lange), the long-absent Supreme, sweeps back into town, determined to protect the Coven and hell-bent on decimating anyone who gets in her way.

I love me some Leslie Jordan. I feel his best acting performance has been his semi-autobiographical movie “Lost in the Pershing Point Hotel”. Based on his play. One of my favorite movies.

I love, love Leslie. His comic timing is dead-on.
I am so excited I could vomit. Ryan has done such a terrific job with this series so far. This next chapter will be just as delicious. I can’t wait.

OMFG. I see no way that this doesn’t become the best season of television in 2013. Or maybe second after Hannibal, but still; the indecent amount of FIERCE actresses and actors announced for this next installment are making me salivate.
B Damion
@ Polaro…your usually a nasty little bitch to me. But, if we are going to have a kiki then, all is forgiven and I’m all in.
ps..”No T No shade” lol.

In addition, I feel as though my Shih Tzu has been logging into my computer and reading my emails. He always has this very guilty face when I walk into my room and I notice my emails have been read and sometimes deleted.
Hmmmm..I’ll keep you guys updated.

@B Damion: I’ll try to be nicer in the future. Damn it. 🙂

@B Damion: Talking about “shade” didn’t Mr. Jordan come to prominence long before Will & Grace on the series Evening Shade which I vaguely recall headlined Burt Reynolds? Also for those who might be interested he has published a memoir called “My Life Down The Pink Carpet.”
