It’s no surprise that whenever model Max Emerson and internet personality Davey Wavey get within shooting distance of a camera their shirts magically disappear. Now the two get undressed together to make a very handsome beast with two backs but it’s all for a good cause this time. From June 5-11, Davey will join thousands of others on AIDS/LifeCycle’s annual 545-mile bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise money and awareness for the continued fight against HIV/AIDS. He’s set his personal fundraising goal at $20K and wants you to dig deep to help.

I wouldn’t kick either out of bed and would have happily joined them both in the bed of the video. That said, here Davey is doing something good and positive for our community, real work that ride, and the comments about him seem to be nothing but negative. I think any posted negative comment should start with the amount the author has pledged. Otherwise, how about keeping the egativity to yourself? Let’s support someone working to make the lives of those struggling with AIDS/HIV easier rather than undermine him. If you can’t write something nice, don’t write.
While I can’t say I know Davey personally, I met him at SF Parade a few years ago and he struck me as kind, sweet, and very smart. I would be honored to have such a man as a friend.

@Billy Budd: @lykeitiz: I’m not really getting the Davey Wavey hatred unless it’s based on his typical video presentation, which has been the same for nearly 99 percent of the time (super positive, shirtless, physically fit). On a different issue, Max is only a teency weency more macho than Davey.
