It’s been three short days since we first reported on the homophobic high school principal who suspended a male student for legally appearing in gay porn, and now this awful woman is finally getting her time to shine!
Take a good look at her, folks! This is Cocoa High School Principal Dr. Stephanie Soliven, a woman who obtained a doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from University of Central Florida only to lead a pack of high school bullies in an effort to rob a student of the right to graduate because she does not agree with his life choices.
Dr. Soliven cited Sean Cody model “Noel” (who appears in gay porn films legally as an adult and not on school grounds) earlier this month for “causing a campus disturbance” after she discovered his work for the gay porn studio. He had reportedly been “severely bullied” by classmates who first caught wind of the films, and her response to the situation was to suspend Noel for a period long enough to cause him not to graduate this June.
Dr. Soliven has been working with the Brevard County School Public School District since 1994 and was named “Florida’s Outstanding Assistant Principal” in 2008, an award with which she received a $2,500 personal check. She’s been called “an excellent example of the outstanding administrators” by District Superintendent Dr. Richard A. DiPatri, a man who also claimed she “works tirelessly to motivate and insure the success of our students.”
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
But that was in 2008, and perhaps Soliven did “work tirelessly to motivate and insure the success of students” back then. This is obviously not the case now, as she’s done everything in her limited power to destroy the life of one of her students, who is reportedly making more money than her by appearing in adult films. Jealousy?
According to a number of Facebook support groups set up for Noel, classmates have threatened skipping class and changed their profile pictures across social media to show support. Despite Dr. Soliven’s threat to expel anyone showing support, a movement is already under way at the school.
A large group of students reportedly skipped 7th period on Friday and gathered to stomp and shout his name in the school’s quad in protest.
A classmate posted a photo of the protest action to social media, writing ‘All these people be protesting and stomping and yelling [Noel’s real name] like there be an earthquake.’
The same day Noel posted to Facebook that he intended to challenge his suspension.
‘Coming back to Cocoa isn’t the best for me but bringing justice to the disciplinary system and discrimination of the administration has not slipped my mind either,’ he wrote.
With the story gaining traction with mainstream media, many have taken to Cocoa High School’s Facebook page to express outrage (want to express outrage over the phone? Call Dr. Soliven directly at 321-632-5300):

What a beautiful young man.
Donna Martin graduates! Donna Martin graduates! Donna Martin graduates!

Glad this kid is returning to school. However, theres no way this kid is making more then the principal, the most he made for his scene would be $3000 and thats on the high end.
KittyLitter
@tazz602: Hopefully he can still sue
@TinoTurner: It’s SC. They pay a lot.
TinoTurner
@KittyLitter: Principals make at least $75k and more often then not, over $100k. SC isn’t paying “models” that.

There are consequences when you put yourself out in the public limelight, even if he thought it would be a limited limelight.
Niall
Whoa, just to point out something totally mundane, he looks really different irl from his SC self.

I think the principal Stephanie Soliven acted in a manner which is understandable. Perhaps she should have been less impulsive in her actions but I think she was concerned.
I’d tell the young man that he needs to get his house in order.

@jimbryant – please go away. Your modus operandi is so obvious. Your posts are a bore and usually filled with inaccuracy and prejudice. If you’re truly a gay man, which I doubt, you need professional help. If you’re not a gay man, you need professional help.
Cam
@jimbryant:
Your opinion on his house is irrelevent, and her actions are actually illegal. But then again, your first instinct is always to defend the anti-gay bigot so no surprise.

This story is the most ridiculous character assassination I have ever seen. Dr. Soliven is a former instructor of mine and this article could not be any further from the truth. She is an exceptional educator and her positive influence on my life continues to this day as I am now an adult. For one, we don’t know the actual facts of this case. She probably had a school full of underage students viewing pornography on campus because of this student. Obviously, it was not his intention for the whole school(and now the world) to view the adult video he made. It was his choice to do this and he was within every legal right to do so. But he is still in high school and when his peers found out and circulated it, he was responsible for the causing a severe disruption to the school. This is not a gay/straight matter stop making it one. If this were straight porn, I believe the same thing would have happened. A lesson every high schooler should take from this is; don’t do porn while you are still in high school.

In the origional post about this subject one of the typical right wing trolls poasted the following.
“”14156asdfg
The principal is a black African women.””

It looks like the anti-gay bigots are STILL trying (Pathetically) to see if they can get the gay community and the black community to attack each other.
Look bigots, NOM’s papers that outlined this strategy were leaked AGES ago, the strategy is obvious and sad. The funny thing in this instance is, it was also a lie obviously.

What a pathetic attempt to try to change the subject. Whether or not you liked this person is completely irrelevant to the fact that she broke the law. If she didn’t then the district wouldn’t have IMMEDIATELY blocked what the principal did as soon as it was publically exposed.
Secondly, THIS STUDENT isn’t responsible for other students looking at porn anymore than somebody who works at Miller Brewing is responsible for kids drinking.
But thanks for showing us the typical pathetic defense of “Anything that the bigot does isn’t their fault and blame the gay kid for everything that isn’t his fault.” nice try fool.

Stop trying to elevate grubby, porny behavior to the level of gay rights.
If this Sean Cody model “Noel” was an 18 year old girl, I wonder if you’d be elevating her to the level of cause celebre, extolling her “virtues” as a model of “female empowerment”.
Face it – porn is a destructive, drug-riddled industry that has caused a lot of suicides. It is an empty vacuum of soulless individuals in search of cash for the next drug hit. It’s a cheap and lazy way to make money for sad individuals who put their bodies on the line, thus making rich porn moguls even richer.
My message to the porn moguls is this: we are coming to take away your business. We will bring down the porn industry by introducing new laws against you. It’s a new revolution.

@OrlandoSteph: On first reading your comment “…when his peers found out and circulated it, he was responsible for the causing a severe disruption to the school.” I thought you were using IRONY or SATIRE in blaming ‘Noel’ to point out the REAL DISRUPTION caused by the classmates. Their actions CAUSED DISRUPTION. ‘Noel’ didn’t share that info. He didn’t go to school and shout ‘look at my adult video’ … the disruption was those students who passed the pics or video around as mockery. They are the evil-doers. WHAT A LACK OF UNDERSTANDING.
Cam
@jimbryant:
So Jim, lets see, based on all your comments, you always support anti-gay bigots, you have a weird obsession with porn etc…
None of which changes the simple facts of this case.
The Principal tried to expel this kid for performing a legal job. End of story, it’s illegal and as soon as others found out about it she freaked out, tried to lie, and then readmitted him.
Your attempt to keep trying to change the subject is obvious and ridiculous.

Cam,
The filming of porn is NOT legal in Florida. It’s only legal in California.
CaptainFabulous
@jimbryant: Actually Jimmy Boy, SCOTUS has ruled that porn production is a legal activity protected by the First Amendment. It’s legal to produce it everywhere, and Florida has no specific laws against it, other than a few old and outdated obscenity laws that usually collapse when challenged in court.
So no, it is NOT illegal in Florida. There are no laws that specifically prohibit porn production anywhere in the US.
Wrong as usual.
CaptainFabulous
@jimbryant: You need professional help. Like heavily-medicated kind of help. At this point I’m really convinced you have antisocial personality disorder. Your brain just doesn’t work right. It’s clear because everything that comes out of your mouth is absolute and utter bullshit. Either that or you’re a giant fucking troll that just likes to get people riled up. Either way, get help. For your own sake.
You sure you’re not related to another famous Bryant? Like a sister named Anita by chance?
Nixter
@CaptainFabulous: I disagree. Many of his comments are spot on accurate-things we many not be comfortable admitting, but true nonetheless. Of course, not all of his comments, just some.
scoobydube
@jimbryant: It would seem that you EITHER forgot to take your meds OR that there is that “PESKY” First Amendment to consider. Either way, please see your doctor RIGHT AWAY !!!!!
tdx3fan
@Cam: I am relatively certain that he does not even identify as gay. To my knowledge, he, like most of SC’s “stars”, is gay for pay. That being said, he still did not deserve to be suspended from school. I think that the principal was trying to do damage control for the school. She was faced with suspending/expelling a whole group of people that were against his film debut or removing him. I am all for her asking him not to return to school (even if it is a public school), but not allowing him to make up the work and graduate is ridiculous.
tdx3fan
@jimbryant: Yada, yada, yada, yada! However, I bet you still watch it, don’t you!?! Credibility lost!
stranded
Why do you people keep feeding Jimbryant attention? It’s so easy to ignore his posts.
SteveDenver
Dang he’s beautiful, frisky as hell and looks like he’s having a great time. Too bad someone doesn’t protect him and simply use condoms. Barebacking is bullshit. He’s probably never met anyone living with HIV or whose meds stopped working, or anyone having difficulty with illness exacerbated by an AIDS-compromised body.
It must be something for school kids to see him having sex, I’m sure there’s more than one budding homosexual longing for him.
Stop being stupid: demand porn with protection. People in porn shouldn’t be disposable.
SteveDenver
@tdx3fan: I agree. She responded like she had parental rights. She should have evaluated whether or not his job interfered with his schooling or that of any other student. Being the victim of teasing and bullying is NOT causing a disturbance — that was a real reach. Then the bit about him threatening to bring weapons to school, that was just a mess looking messier. When his mother stepped up in his defense, and there were no concrete reasons to continue this string of bad decisions, the principal should have backed down; but like a moron she doubled-down until it was out of her hands.
