James Franco and Bianca del Rio joined previously announced celebrity performers Alex Minsky, Alan Cumming, Andy Karl, Constantine Maroulis, Patrick Page and Christopher Sieber at the Manhattan Center’s Hammerstein Ballroom for Broadway Bares: Rock Hard! This year’s installment of the annual burlesque show was directed by choreographer/dancer Nick Kenkel and featured some of New York’s sexiest and most talented dancers in an extravagant burlesque fundraiser for the Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS organization. Tony Award-winner Jerry Mitchell created Broadway Bares in 1992. In its first year, seven dancers performed on a bar and raised $8,000. Broadway Bares: Rock Hard! raised a whopping $1,386,105 to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. The 24 editions of Broadway Bares have now raised more than $12.6 million for Broadway Cares.
