Ah, Broadway Bares. It’s our chance to ogle the incredibly hot men of the New York theater scene all in the name of charity. Philanthropy never looked so good.
Ten of the most delightful and delectable male dancers from Broadway Bares recently stripped to their skivvies for the 2014 edition of Broadway Bares: Solo Strips.
Delivering a tantalizing peek at the sumptuous Broadway Bares season, the 10 men and their mama – drag queen Kizha Carr – raised $16,140 for AIDS research by performing choreographed stripteases at BPM in New York.
But enough talk. Scroll down for some photos from the evening, plus a video of the always-classy disrobing.
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.

they never actually show dick- which is funny, since you can see full frontal in a bout half the shows on Broadway….whoops, sorry- forgot I wasn’t allowed to have opinion or post thoughts- sorry!
sportyguy1983
What a sad commentary that they stoop this low to raise money.
michael mellor
So they’re fighting AIDS by promoting sexualized bodies? Wonders never cease.
DerekR
@michael mellor: Jimbo/Petey/Jason/Michael how is it that you’ve managed to weasel back onto Queerty? Keep spewing your pathetic schtick and you’ll be gone again in no time.
bitemelo
@sportyguy1983: I know right? People having fun on stage raising money for people that can’t afford food or medicine. They should be ashamed of themselves as well as all those people donating money!
Mezaien
Good for them! the black man is, so hot sexy sweet and just WOW man. n The rest of you HOMOS, and Queerty go suck eggs.
michael mellor
DerekR,
I don’t believe a word you say.

Completely nasty unnecessary comments on this topic. Almost certainly from people doing nothing for charity – unless being a bitch pays dividends.
Spike
So, this is a yearly strip show with drag queens that raises money for AIDS research, if you are not interested, don’t go. All the hate here just sounds like a bunch of republicans objecting to gay marriage.
Geeker
Are these guys what they call chorus boys in the biz?
dbmcvey
@hotboyvb81: What shows on Broadway can you see full frontal male nudity? Really. What shows?
dbmcvey
@sportyguy1983: Wow. You sound a little jealous.

@bitemelo:
With you. These Broadway actors are doing the right thing, helping others. No criticism of them is worth the thought, breath or keystrokes.

It’s hilarious to read comments disdaining this show. One would think BODIES and SEX were nasty and shameful. And even more horrifying: FLIRTY SEXY FUN.
The “Broadway Bares” series is hugely successful and the only message is: “This is to raise money for AIDS research and prevention.” That is printed on the ticket, presented in the introduction, and then the show goes on.
Since 1988 Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS has raised over $250 million dollars, an over half of that in the past eight years. These shows and the tips that are stuffed in the underwear of dancers and performers, and thrown on stage, are all donated to the cause. The performers are not paid, they are volunteers.
But some people seem to think they should go away with their stunning bodies, skimpy costumes and enticing moves. How about some gratitude?
