Like the back room at a certain (handful of) Manhattan boy bars, everything needs a mopping up now and then. Today it’s Queerty’s turn. We’re sporting a new look and some new features for the first time since our launch back in ’05.
Now that we’re an award-winning blog (you didn’t hear?) we figured we better act the part. So aside from a revamped layout – the gays like everything with more girth – we also launched comments, so you can begin peppering our website with your diatribes in addition to our inbox. All we ask is that you stay on topic and leave the catfights to MySpace.
You may have also noticed “mini Q,” an auto-refreshing pop-up window that we invite you to keep open on your desktop throughout the day. It’ll automatically update itself with our new posts.
And lastly, be sure to check out Queer Feed over in the sidebar. It’s our way of keeping tabs on the rest of the gay world with a constantly updated list of links that we hope you’ll find useful. As always, if you’ve got a suggestion, we want to hear from you, so email us at [email protected].
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
With editor Dan Renzi having relocated to Miami, it was only fitting we got ourselves a nip-tuck.

I’m confused. If no one liked this layout on Jossip, why would they suddenly embrace it here? I love this blog and will continue visiting despite the yucky design, but I hope you will reconsider the change.

Love the new look!
