Ryan Murphy joins Instagram, wastes no time dropping clues

Ryan Murphy keeps himself astoundingly busy making binge-worthy TV, but nobody is completely immune to the time vacuum that is social media. So let’s all give a warm welcome to Ryan Murphy: The Instagram Experience.

He joined the photo-sharing app a mere four days ago, and already in true-to-Murphy-form, he’s dropping clues about his upcoming projects.

Here he is announcing his new Insta-endeavor on another social media service, because of course:

And here is what’s been gleaned so far from his shares:

Below, find a photo of Darren Criss in his Andrew Cunanan costume on the set of Versace: American Crime Story. That’s not news, but next to him is Max Greenfield, whose casting has not yet been announced. His velvety unbuttoned shirt and awkward mustache, combined with the caption “Do the Hustle,” suggest Greenfield will be playing an escort of sorts.

Switching genres (and shows), another interesting tidbit is this sketch captioned “American Horror Story Season 7 tease.” Murphy has previously revealed that the upcoming AHS will center around the 2016 election, so we can only guess there will be a GOP elephant monster wrecking havoc on the land. Too soon.

Then there’s this pretty great shot of Jessica Lange and Trog on the set of Feud. No clues here, just good old-fashioned Trog realness:

And here’s a shot from Murphy’s “Laguna bedroom” for no apparent reason:

I love this shot of my Laguna bedroom. Douglas Friedman is a great photographer.

And just to round things out — Glenn Close. Because who doesn’t love Glenn Close?
