Season Six of American Horror Story was preceded by a series of misdirecting trailers that aimed to keep its central theme a mystery — but Ryan Murphy is being quite upfront about what he’s got in store for Season Seven.

“I don’t have a title,” he said Wednesday during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live. “But the season that we begin shooting in June is going to be about the election that we just went through. I think that will be interesting for a lot of people.”
Asked if Trump would actually be a character on the show, Murphy replied, “Maybe.”

Love AHS, watched every season, love Murphy, great at his craft…as much as a horror this election was, I can’t imagine how he will work it into the AHS genre…but as long as it is better than S6 Roanoke…my least favorite.

I love AHS (even though Ronoake was janky as crap) almost as much as TWD. I think what has made AHS so popular is the “creepiness” factor. How are you gonna make Election (?) creepy? Plz don’t taint a good show with something like this… plz!

Love a lot of his shows, but I just can’t watch this. Sarandon as Bette Davis? Sorry, she wore out her welcome during the election.
