Actress and former The Talk host Sara Gilbert has filed for separation from her wife of almost six years, songwriter and singer Linda Perry. The two women began dating in 2011 and married in March 2014.

People revealed Gilbert, 44, filed for separation last Friday. According to documents seen by People, the women split August, 13.

The documents go on to cite irreconcilable differences as the reason for their separation and request no spousal support for either Gilbert or Perry from one another.

The women became parents to a son, Rhodes Emilio, 4.5 years ago. Gilbert also has two older children, Levi Hawk, 15, and Sawyer Jane, 12. The documents do not reveal any details about custody arrangements.

Neither woman has made any public comment about the split.

Gilbert rose to fame in the 80s as a cast member on Roseanne. She has reprised the role most recently on The Conners.

She also created and formerly co-hosted CBS daytime talkshow, The Talk. She stepped down as a host after nine years at the beginning of August, saying she wanted to spend more time with her kids.

Perry, 54, found fame in the early 1990s as the singer with 4 Non Blondes. She has since become one of the music industry’s most respected producers and songwriters, penning hits for Pink and Christina Aguilera, among others.
