A riveting new Reddit thread asks:
Straight guys of Reddit, what’s the most gay thing you have done? How do you feel about the experience?
Let’s get right to the good stuff, shall we?
“I listened to a Barbara Streisand record while drinking a cosmopolitan,” one man confesses. “I’m still struggling to overcome the feeling of shame.”
“Went to TJ Maxx with a friend,” another guys adds.
“Opening this thread,” a third guy writes. “Not great.”
Of course, plenty of the allegedly straight guys of Reddit copped to some pretty gay behavior.
“I touched a dick in an orgy,” one man says. “I’m not ashamed.”
Another guy writes: “A guy blew me in the back room of a Kinko’s on the overnight shift back in the 90’s. Felt weird about it afterwards, but now I wish I would have explored my bi side more when I was younger.”
“I was a regular visitor to glory holes,” a third guy admits, “and I’ve done several MMF with married couples. The husband was always very bi.”
Some other interesting confessions include:
“Locker room in high school. All the guys were checking each other’s junk out. Happens.”
“Curiosity got the best of me once when I was really horny, so I decided to look up a local site that featured transgender escorts.”
“I like butt plugs and stuff. … Haven’t had a prostate orgasm yet, but I want to.”
A lot of the guys mention strange experiences that involve coming into contact with other men’s facial hair.
“I made out with my best friend at the time. Our girlfriends said they’d make out in exchange (like in American Pie 2). They totally reneged. We were pissed, and I was grossed out by his facial hair,” one man says.
Drunk night out with friends and this guy comes up who knows two of the girls in our group. Apparently he thought I was super attractive and asked if I had ever kissed a guy before. I admitted I hadn’t and since the vibe was pretty good and fun the girls egged me on and the guy and I kissed a quick one for like 2 sec. I remember his facial hair scrubbed with my facial hair.
To which a third replies, “Yeah it’s odd at first to get used to the sensation of facial hair!”
As soon as I saw the chosen picture I thought, “please don’t be another article about experimenting ‘straight guys’ that’s probably gonna be made up an random quotes on Reddit” and sure enough.
Complain complain complain. So what. It’s entertainment. It’s fun. Lighten up you’ll live longer.
Yeah, the fun and entertainment value of selling shallowness and hetero-worship worn out for me by the time I was of age.
And of course, one could guess the byline would be Graham Gremore!
Easy solution: Just don’t click. If your first thought is “this is going to be something that annoys me” and you click, you forfeit the right to bitch. Sounds like one of those people who looks for things to bitch about.
As a gay man I only have sex with straight deeply closeted men preferably masculine white and with children however once they declare they are gay I dump them…off to find my next conquest
Oh I hear ya. If I even get a hint that they are really into sex with men, I get instantly turned off. They have to treat me like a lady and convince me I am having true heterosexual sex with a straight man or it just won’t work for me.
Ha ha ha ha ha.
“They have to treat me like a lady ” … or even better, like a f@****, I love it when straight married guys call me a f@****, that’s such a turn-on.
(Damn, I hope this is sarcasm.)
It could be sarcasm or cognitive absurdity. Either works.
I love it when they want tell me how disgusted they are of me. Really turns me on. You guys are so right. Nothing worse then some so called straight dude showing interest. Yuck.
I thought it was just me that lived to conquer straight men. So hot!!
I’m turned off by anyone who’s turned on by me. Seriously.
Please girl. We’ve heard ad nausium how much you like young smooth twinks, hate muscled guys, etc.
@ChrisK, thank you!
If that’s true, your options are limitless.
News flash, they’re not straight. They’re not even straight acting.
They may be hetero. But “straight” has always meant men with opposite sexual attractions only and opposite sexual behavior only. Anything outside of that isn’t “straight”. But I don’t believe a lil experimentation takes away someone’s hetero card. But since so many want sexual orientation to mean behavior and/or “lifestyle” instead of sexual attractions we have many people identifying as whatever they feel.
The irritating thing here is that Graham constantly scopes the internet for any “straight’ men experimenting” stories and then treats them like they’re some revelation and something that homo and homo-dominant men should go in a frenzy over.
That’s why I like to go places like the Abbey in Weho. Full of straight guys experimenting. Ok they’re only self loathing fags but it’s so fun to pretend.
Well I thought it was a funny article. At least it wasn’t another piece on that douche bag Justin beiber! Don’t take yourselves too seriously people. Tomorrow could be midnight!
I’m gay, came out at 25, totally out now but have to tell everyone, I never dated, kissed, or had sex with a girl. The gayest thing I’ve ever seen straight guys do is line dancing at the only dance club around here which is Dixie Roadhouse…. that’s just way too gay for me!
These tentative, wishy-washy admissions can’t possibly represent the real truth of straight guys experiences of gay sex, even just based solely on the proportion of my class that I blew in high school.
I agree, Josh; considering how many straight, married men my partner and I have been with over the years–quite a few on a regular basis–at least some of those guys went all the way.
I’m gay and I think the straightest thing I’ve ever done is spoon with a girl while watching TV. That was like 30 yrs ago so I’ve matured much since then and now I wouldn’t get close enough to a gash to be able to identify the colors.
The back room at Kinko’s? Yes, but who hasn’t?
The straightest thing I ever did was have sex with a woman and not hate it.
Has this author written anything in the past 6 months that didn’t have “Straight” in the title???
DCGurl… are you and ChrissyK an Item? What does MoBro say about that?
It was so easy and normal to have sex with straight guys in the fifties, sixties and even seventies before you lot got your freedom and so called acceptance. Life was great! Nobody talked about these matters but action was rampant and delicious….
It was equal rights, the others were the tailwind.
