1. Spice Girls
In August of last year, the Spice Girls inadvertently kicked off a year of nostalgia by reuniting during the closing ceremonies of the 2012 Summer Olympics. There performance mashed up several of fans’ favorite jams, saw the girls riding taxis around the stadium, and Posh Spice glaring into the camera. Despite Posh’s scowl, everyone looked like they were having a good time – prompting talks of a reunion tour. But honestly, it was just so much fun fan girling and singing along to every song.

To be honest, i find it funny at the resurgence of the boybands of old in response to the fresh batch of boy bands in the style of The Wanted and One Direction. It’s a bit like they’re poking their heads up to say ‘bitches, respect.’
