It’s hard to name a TV family more wholesome than the one depicted in the beloved ’70s sitcom The Brady Bunch. The blended clan never had any serious problems that couldn’t be wrapped up within 30 minutes…except for that one time in the notorious “lost episode” when gay sex worker Cousin Oliver came to visit.
Every few months this Funny or Die video from 2010 gets circulated in our newsfeed and we have to drop everything and watch it again. Appropriately titled “Oliver Twist,” the comedy site inserts a sassy gay version of the character originally played by Robbie Rist who gets the customary warm welcome from the Bradys (“I feel like the last quaalude at a key party,” he exclaims) before the kids realize he’s a walking disaster area.

@Stache: You would have LOVED the 1970’s. There are parts of that song that confirmed the suspicions of this big fat heifer that I called my best friend in high school. I am sure you too felt like just gliding across the floor in heels as you listened to certain parts of that song. I always pretended to have on heels and a flowered dress (remember I am from the country). Yes, a pretty straw hat too. One day when the song was on the radio and I went into my routine not knowing that her big fat ass was in the room while I was holding the left side of my make believe dress while gliding and prancing……..anyway, it is a fun song from my early teen years. And no, I was not on acid. I might have puffed on some……..anyway. Glad you enjoyed it. Damn, I sure miss the 1970’s and adolescence. Waking up with moist under…..glad you enjoyed it.
