This just in: Sam Smith has a new man in their life.
The “How Do You Sleep?” singer was snapped by paparazzi with a guy while hanging out at a local pub in London earlier this week.
???!! Sam Smith está namorando! O flagra foi feito pelo tabloide britânico Mirror em Londres, enquanto Sam estava num encontro romântico com seu novo parceiro. ????? pic.twitter.com/nq1SvfW5hj

Internet sleuths wasted no time trying to identify Sam’s new beau. They quickly learned it was Francois Rocci, a French-born product and furniture designer.
According to his website, Rocci graduated with a BA in Product and Furniture Design from Kingston University in 2016, then went on to earn his masters in Design Product at the Royal College of Art in 2018.
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
It’s no clear whether Smith and Rocci are officially an item, or even how they met, but it has to have been recently because Smith was bemoaning being single during the pandemic back in April.
How about a looksy at his Instagram page? It’s mostly photos of his design work, but he’s got a few mysterious selfies on there, too…

‘This just in: Sam Smith has a new man in his life.’ I thought their preferred pronouns were they/them/their?
controversial2019
That’s what I thought too.
Maybe ‘they’ decided to go back to he/him given they’ve been out the news ten minutes so need to get back in somehow.
dhmonarch89
the whole they/their etc is trying…so trying that Smith doesn’t even stick to it. In 2 of their songs, they refer to themself as ‘a man’ and his partner in ‘dancing with a stranger’ refers to them as ‘Boy’…so- when it’s better to market their music with traditional disclaimers, etc- they buckle to convention- to make money, but get offended when we use the wrong word… I’m so sick of people today…mostly because as an English minor subject/pronoun/verb agreement no longer exists and the 1st couple sentences above were a nightmare to type with my brain programmed differently for 50 years.
DarkZephyr
Its a song, not their life.
southernscot
@DarkZephyr you are right , it’s not their life it is just a song being sung by a non binary identifying person using binary identifying language to make it sell to a predominantly binary identifying audience.
GameBoy
Of course pressed and ignorant af gays in the comment section PER usual…
Sam stays unbothered getting that cute dick and making bops, I heard they have an album coming this October, regardless what you think Sam is an attention seeker or not, Sam stays winning…
Jack
I just think being so “extra” has eclipsed his talent. Not because of being binary or having body issues or any of the things he has come forward about. Just too damn much. Self diagnosis himself as having Coronavirus….. I just think his publicist needs to have him stay more private and less erratic. He’s an incredible talent and he just needs a focus on the music to get back on track.
Prax07
Meh…Sam who?

I think you guys should talk about Chadwick Bozeman today!! It might not be gay news but cancer is a universal problem which many men have a problem verbalising. Chadwick proved that everyone could be a superhero and I think he deserves to be honoured for it xx
Rock-N-RollHS
Yes, sad news. . .
dre23222
I agree with you. Sad news. RIP King
Kangol2
It’s very sad. RIP Chadwick Boseman.
southernscot
I am sure if the article was about Chadwick Boseman people would have been talking about him and cancer, but its not it’s about Sam Smith so why would they? To be perfectly frank Chadwick Boseman didn’t talk about it either!
Rock-N-RollHS
So, for all Sam’s post gender b.s., he likes a nice hot masculine looking dude like most gays. Quelle surprise!
DarkZephyr
If that’s SO boringly normal and ALL gay men are like that, why take the time to make a comment about it? You may as well make a comment about somebody liking apples and feign surprise. It would make as much sense if this is what you believe to be the case.
bachy
I just wish people like Sam would make more effort to integrate biological reality into their “identity” before requiring the entire public to start using strange pronouns to accommodate their contempt for their own bodies.

Four well-framed, perfectly focused shots over two or three different locations, with nothing blocking the frame at all, and in a pub courtyard and presumably just outside the pub. A cynic – or someone who knows how difficult it is to get one sneaky shot, let alone four – would suggest these had all been posed.
RyanMBecker
That’s “super hot”? Really?
