There’s plenty of excitement right now about the states with the freedom to marry on the ballot (Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, and Washington). But which states are going to be on the radar for marriage news in 2013?

As it turns out, two top contenders are about as different as can be: Rhode Island and Nevada. We’re seeing early indications that both states will have marriage bills in the works once the new legislative session starts in a few months.

Also in this week’s episode: a new ad in Washington that looks an awful lot like an old ad from California. And oh yeah, the Supreme Court finally weighing in on the Prop 8 case.
