The new Tom Ford thriller “Nocturnal Animals” is getting good buzz and positive reviews from critics. Now we have an official first trailer, released on Thursday, which delivers on suspense and beautiful cinematography.
The film stars Amy Adams as a woman looking for identity and meaning, struggling with a past that will not release her and a future that looks grim. Jake Gylenhaal, Michael Shannon and Aaron Taylor-Johnson round out the cast.

This is Ford’s sophomore effort. The famous fashion designer’s first movie, “A Single Man,” was well received. In a recent interview, Ford said the Amy Adams character was based on himself, and spoke candidly about his battles with addiction, depression and constant thoughts of death.

Some movies should be seen in a theatre on the big screen and Tom Ford’s films are those. I was so impressed by the beauty in A SINGLE MAN. A dvd or streaming just won’t do it for gorgeously photographed movies.
