Running, mate?

Cellphone video captures Oprah revealing if she’s running for president

It has been exactly one month since this video of Oprah sent liberals’ Facebook feeds into a frenzy of will-she-won’t-she-should-she-shouldn’t-she:

No–sorry, this is the video, recorded as she accepted the Cecil B. de Mille Award at the 2018 Golden Globes:

It seemed that the media mogul (and nominee for the 2018 Queerties Award for Badass of the Year) had asked her husband Steadman to further test the waters when he then told an L.A. Times reporter: “It’s up to the people. She would absolutely do it.”

Whether it was “the people” or a well-compensated consultant who ultimately influenced her political ambitions, it appears we now have our answer about Oprah 2020.

It ain’t happening.

TMZ shared a video of Oprah filming an interview with Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda on Wednesday at NYC’s Apollo Theater for her upcoming batch of ‘SuperSoul Conversations’ to be released in March.

When Miranda says he isn’t running for office, Oprah excitedly proclaims: “I’m not either!”
