Jesus is a gay man and it is time to see that on our television screens.
Jesus from “The Walking Dead” that is, the character whom the author of the books from which the show is derived, Robert Kirman, has confirmed is gay, has so far not been represented as such onscreen. Tom Payne, the actor who plays the character on the popular AMC series, has now said he hopes that this changes.
“I think that would be amazing,” Payne said when asked about the possibility of the character coming out on the show. He also remembered Kirkman saying of the character, “Yeah, who cares? He’s a bad ass and he happens to be gay.”
“I think that’s one of the strongest things about Robert and how he writes the comic books,” Payne continued. “Why wouldn’t he be? And I see no reason why that would be different in the show.”

Fans were disappointed when Norman Reedus‘ character Daryl Dixon never came out or had a gay love scene, which Reedus was in favor of, by the way. Kirman has since said that Dixon is straight, although presents as mostly asexual.
Those same fans had reason to rejoice when gay character Aaron, who also features prominently in the books, was introduced, along with his partner.

Jesus character bio in the comics says he’s gay, a bad ass who can take care of himself, usually has funny one liners and is one of Rick’s most trusted and valued allies in the fight against the Saviors. The character is very popular with the fan boys…despite that whole gay thing.
I’m hoping that popularity can also transfer to the TV screen. But given all the fan boys who threw up in their mouths when Aaron kissed Eric and made their displeasure known online, I’m not holding my breath.
Tom Payne is also a nice piece of eye candy so that pretty cool too.

Based on the article it was the creator of The Walking Dead comic, Robert Kirkman (whose surname you misspelled) that confirmed the character’s sexual orientation. Tom Payne’s comments seem to merely reflect the knowledge provided by Kirkman. And while Kirkman has confirmed that the comic iteration of Jesus is gay, that doesn’t necessarily translate to the character on the television series being written the same way. Kirkman isn’t as in control of the TV series as he is his comic.
In either case this article could use a bit of sprucing up. The headline presents inaccurate information to the reader and the contents lacks basic editing – like spelling the surname of the comic creator properly!

Jesus is a myth. Never was. A compilation. Put together to be the glue in a work of fiction the Romans wrote and called ‘the new testament’. Got everyone nice and compliant and paid their taxes. Got all the Imperial Roman Family to take top positions in this new religion they started. Worked out great – no more jewish uprisings, and taxes were paid on time. It’s all story telling – nothing more.

The Walking Dead lost me as a viewer when they started favoring torture porn and expecting viewers to take on the mindset of psychopaths deriving pleasure from murder.
Couldn’t care less if they give Jesus a boyfriend at this point. They didn’t need to focus so heavily on people murdering people and deriving almost sexual pleasure out of it.

That rumour about Daryl being gay was mostly started because of when it was revealed Jesus was gay in the comics people started assuming Daryl was for some reason. It was just talk. They never said Daryl was gay. It was talked about because they were gonna straight wash Jesus because of controversy. Jesus is a way more interesting character. The fangirls can keep Daryl.
