I’m not a Trump fan. And I think what he said was gross. But in my opinion, here are the reasons why his pussy-grabbing comments got so little traction with Trump supporters and conservatives in general.
1. It was a private conversation between two people.
2. Trump illuminated two universal truths; that rich men can do whatever they want, and women will throw themselves at rich men. Like it or not, this is the way of the world.
3. The Left exhibits selective outrage over profanity and will in fact celebrate crude language if it advances their own cause.

@Uppity: I agree about selective outrage, but seriously, Trump, in that conversation and in public ones, has detailed personal behavior that constitutes assault. He’s bragged about hanging out with a known pedophile (Jeffrey Epstein). He said he grabbed the women by their vulvas/vaginas. He’s mocked disabled people, etc. It’s not just offensive speech, but actions. And assaulting women goes far beyond bad speech. I think his supporters have normalized his behavior, but if it happened to them, they’d be outraged.
