PHOTO: Adam Levine Tweets Bloody Pic—And He Still Looks Sexy!

The entire Twitterverse gasped when Adam Levine posted this pic of him with a bloodied eyebrow and busted lip yesterday. But their swooning was in vain: The pretty-boy Maroon 5 singer and Voice star was just in makeup for the video for the band’s new single,”Payphone.”  (You can Google “payphone” to find out what that word means.) In the accompanying text, he tweeted “Rough morning.”

Twitter reactions ranged from confusion to concern to, well, horniness:. Said one male admirer, “Whether it’s real or a makeup job, he even looks sexy with a busted lip.” We can’t disagree.

Levine might be back in the makeup chair soon: It’s been reported he’s going to appear in the second season of Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story.

I am sick of this skinny, ugly goose Levine.

  • Franco

I don’t find him attractive, so I do not understand the appeal. He’s certainly in love with himself though.

  • mike128

I don’t find him attractive either. He’s not a bad looking buy but the way the internet swoons over him – I have a hard time believing it’s real.

  • Tavdy79

The thing about a busted lip is it fires up all your protective instincts, which just makes the guy even more attractive. Which, it has to be said, is pretty difficult to do in Adam Levine’s case!

For fuck’s sake, Adam Levine is an OUTSPOKEN ADRENT ALLY OF THE GAY COMMUNITY. Fine, you don’t like him/his music/his image; who the fuck cares?

Save your venom for the ENEMIES: Bryan Fischer, Maggot Gallagher, Tony Percunt, Mittens Romney, Newt, Rush, Brian Brownshirt, et al.

  • I get it too

    Labial herpes?

  • DouggSeven

Adam Levine is sexy? News to me.

  • soakman

Haha, you guys are so condescending. He’s a good looking guy! To say otherwise is just you either sitting on a high-horse or becoming incredibly unrealistic with your idea of good-looking.

He may not be your cup of tea, but he’s got good skin, a pretty good amount of talent and drive, he seems to be fairly intelligent, and he’s got a kind of rugged not-completely-shaved-head-to-toe quality that I find refreshing.

Have you looked at your average real person lately? I mean, other than porn stars, strippers, and gym bunnies?

  • kawneekwa

Honeys!!! He’s rock star and very popular, honeys!

  • n900mixalot

Meh… the appeal used to be there back in 2003 when he wasnt as popular, and his torment seemed real. But now he seems like used goods.

  • Oh, ok

He’s ok. I don’t get the hype, must be all about the fame.

  • Frank

He’s cute….but I find tattoos and piercings repulsive

  • scott ny'er

Not only good looking BUT he advocates for LGBT people. Love him!!!

  • Kayo

    Hes GOOOORGEOUS, no denying it.

  • QJ201

and what exactly makes this “queer”-ty newsworthy? Oh somebody thinks he’s hot. Other than that who gives a rats ass about dumb-ass posts like this.

  • jose

This pic is not hot in the least, i think he looks good with hair, and if you’re gonna post a story like this, at least make it about a gay gay, seriously, stop sucking these straight guys’ dicks already, they dont fucking want you queerty. Damn, it’s ridiculous.

  • Derby

He has a goodlooking face but his body is too thin and covered in gross tattoos.
maybe a few tats would be ok but he overdoes it. I can see him as an eager bottom

  • Brad007

I don’t find him attractive at all. And he’s super annoying on The Voice.

  • Interesting

Its queer related because he’s considered a strong ally.

I believe has a gay sibling that he strongly supports in the media much like a few other celebrities that get mentioned due to their support.

He’s a good looking guy. Not exactly my type, but I can see it.

To end on a sour note, I think the guys saying they can’t see it are like the bears and other sub culture groups who feel the need to lash out against certain types because those types are the mainstream view of good looking. While I think there should be a wide range of tastes that are considered good looking, I don’t think the solution is to pretend someone is not good looking merely because you want your type to be considered good looking too. But, then, I am one to believe that its possible to have many different types of good looking, never bought into mainstream or subculture ideas, and am at a point where I really am tired of the b.s.

  • jason

He advocates the GLBT cause? Puh-lease, Louise. He’s yet another fake in the music industry who claims he has a gay brother or some such in order to make us pay attention to him.

  • Oh, ok

@Interesting: Really? Everyone must find him attractive? Get over yourself, your opinion is not the end all be all.

He’s really not attractive to plenty of people. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

If you’re so tired of the b.s. then stop spewing it. I’ve never really thought the man was good looking at all, he’s average at best, IN MY OPINION…which I am entitled to.

  • Oh, ok

@Interesting: I also have to add how utterly ridiculous you sound grating your teeth at gay men not finding a STRAIGHT MAN attractive as if it even matters. Seriously, drooling over a straight guy is pathetic enough, white-knighting him on the internet takes it to an entirely different level.

  • Interesting

@Oh, ok: No, you don’t have to find him attractive. THe real question is why you feel the need to tell others who do that he’s not attractive. I find that to be about something more than what you are attracted to. Its about making some kind of political statement. In fact, you make it clear in your next post that this is for some about politics of some kind. I didn’t know finding someone attractive looking was limited to who I was planning to fuck or who would fuck me back. Thanks for your politics.

  • Interesting

Well, he’s done more than most of you have for gay rights, fake or not.

  • Oh, ok

@Interesting: Politics? LOL, you are quite literally nuts.

We have every right to say we don’t find him attractive just like you have every right to say you do. Stop being such a rabid fan that you have to lose your shit over someone voicing their opinion about a guy you don’t even freaking know. I’m pretty sure like any other straight guy he doesn’t find you wanting to fuck him all that appealing even if he smiles in your face and says it’s ok.

And it’s really stupid of you to make a claim that someone you don’t know has done more than other people you don’t know for gay rights.

Seriously get over yourself. You hold your opinions way too highly over others. They are not facts.

Yeah sexy like a pile of Hot Chit.. A Hot Chitty mess indeed.

  • Jay

I agree QJ101. This has nothing to do with LGBT people and all about Adam Levine being a total media whore over nothing.

  • Tackle

Whether one finds Adam Levine good looking or sexy is obviously a matter of ones own tast. To me, he’s cute. And only that.

But what I find unsexy is the idea of grown man over the age of 33-yrs-old, tweeting a pic of himself with a busted lip and brused faced. It seems juvenile to me. Like something Justin Bieber would do.

  • J

@QJ201: He has a connection to the gay community because his brother is gay.

But this site is supposed to be about gays in the news and gay news.

  • J

    @Interesting: So what?

That doesn’t make him better or more entitled than any of us.

Also, his public support of gay rights is bullshit. He only jumped on the bandwagon when others started standing up for gays after Tyler Clementi died.He had nothing to do with it before 2010.

DOn’t be so gullible.Gay rights, fight poverty and all these other causes are trends for celebrities to use for their PR.I’m not saying they don’t mean it,but they exploit a lot for themselves.

  • Interesting

@Oh, ok: yes, someone babbling on about we should only find gay men attractive is being political. Not in the vote for candidate x or y way, by they you want to to make a statement sort of way.

  • Interesting

@J: I don’t see how other people talking about him makes him entitled, but okay.

I don’t pay attention to this dude that much to know. I am just commenting on the simple question of “why” which I googled and find out that he has a connection to the gay community despite claims that there were none and that this post is just somehow coming from no where. In other words, if you hadn’t been bitching, I wouldn’t have known he actually does have a gay brother.

  • Sansacro

So much hotter to lust after someone that not EVERYBODY wants. Although a rich, celebrity rock star ain’t exactly at a loss for bed buddies. But Adam is just my type, famous or not. Diversity rock on!

  • J Stratford

I can see how other people think he is sexy but I do not think he is.

  • dervy

@J Stratford: I agree…he is a hot jewish boy but below the neck he is nasty

  • Steven

Dervy, if he’s actually Jewish he shouldn’t have tattoos at all. All the Jews I know don’t have any tattoos and think that a tattoo is “mutilation” while they practice genital mutilation on infant boys.

  • CBRad

Still trying to prove he’s not some coddled wuss born and raised in Beverly Hills.

  • jason

Don’t you gay twits realize that you are being used by celebrities? They’re making money from you. Adam Levine is one such creep in my view.

Also, have you noticed that a lot of these celebrities go on TV and say “I’ve got a gay brother” or “My friend is gay” but it’s never actually them? The celebrities that are allowed to become commercially successful never actually say that they, themselves, are gay or bisexual. This particuarly applies to the men.

I can only despair at a lot of you. You’ve become the gullible gays, a group of air-headed gay twits who mince through life glorifying in fake shout-outs to your causes as if they’re a chariot to carry you through the storms of life. Problem is, the chariot’s made of fool’s gold, and you’re the fools.

  • I get it too

Who the hell is Adam Levine, and why are we sucking his dick?

  • Interesting

I think the more interesting question is when did “attractive” come to mean “I want to fuck this person” The same olds for sexy

I mean – women can be attractive and sexy and there is no chance I want to stick my dick in one of them.

  • nineinchnail

@I get it too: You may not want to suck the fat out of his sausage but Bloody would. He is f–king cute!!!
