PHOTOS: Marines Strip Down To Their Silkies For PTSD

No, that’s not a hypnotist trying to drift you off into your happy place, it’s the Facebook description for “22, with 22, for the 22,” a San Diego event that saw marines walking 22km, with 22 kg of weight on their backs (that part was optional), to raise awareness of the unconscionable fact that 22 vets kill themselves every day due to PTSD.

And while the name and concept are clever enough, these guys had the foresight to realize that to really attract media attention, why not complete the task in their silkies?

As local 10 News aptly reported, “You’d think they’re boyfriends, but they’re just dudes being dudes.”

Coincidentally, that’s the same thing we said about some of these guys.
