Ultra-conservative Alabama judge Roy Moore treated a Republican audience to a particularly right-wing diatribe last week.
Moore, a former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Alabama, who wishes to stand for election to the Senate in 2020, addressed the Huntsville Republican Men’s Breakfast group, reports Alabama Political Reporter.
“We have got to go back to what we did back in the 60s and 70s back to a moral basis … Abortion was not legal when I went to Vietnam. It was passed later. It was ok’d later. We had abortion laws in our country and our state.
“We did not have same-sex marriage. We did not have transgender rights. Sodomy was illegal. These things were just not around when my classmates and I went to West Point and Vietnam.”
How about we take this to the next level?

Moore stood for the election to the Senate in 2017 but lost to Democrat Doug Jones. His campaign was mired by allegations of sexual misconduct when he was younger.
Several women made allegations against Moore, the youngest of whom says she was 14 at the time of the alleged incident in 1979. He has always denied any wrongdoing.
“Our education system, that is something that really gets me,” Moore continued in his speech. “Because back when I was in school in 1965, we had prayer in school. We had prayer before our football games. The Ten Commandments could be displayed in school up until 1980.
“We said the Pledge of Allegiance. We had morning devotionals. I know most of you in here over the age of 60 probably remember days like that. We are continually under attack from atheists and secular humanists who want to take those laws from us.”

“We have drag queens teaching kindergarten children in this state and this community … in Huntsville in Mobile they taught kids and they dress them up in drag.
“Where does this come from? Gender identity is being taught in California to young kids and parents have no choice but to let their kids be taught that.”

In 2016, Moore lost his position on the Supreme Court of Alabama when he refused to abide by the Supreme Court’s decision on same-sex marriage, claiming it didn’t apply to Alabama.
In June of this year, Moore announced his intention to try and run again for the Senate in 2020 as a Republican candidate. The Republican Primary will take place on March, 3rd.

it’s always interesting to hear these noxious ignorant smcubags rally against Gays for “committing sodomy” when sodomy is the act of oral or anal copulation they don’t even realize that every time they force a drunken girl to have suck their tiny cucks they were actually sodomites…
And it’s always interesting to hear a filthy disgusting PEDOPHILE decrying perfectly legal consensual Gay sex….
And how often do any of you people think about straight sex?? I can think about things that I’m actually interested in in a sexual way this guy spends a real real real real lot of time thinking about and obsessing over Gay sex.,

It’s the same as calling us sodomites. Again, their just pointing the fingers at themselves because when it comes to being greedy and unkind to strangers I can think of no one resembling that more.

Ms. ChrissyK:

Good. If parents refuse to discuss reality with their kids because ‘Jeebus’, then at a certain point, schools should pick up the slack.
Why do you think right wingers are doing their best to destroy public, secular education? If they can control the minds of children and force feed lies into impressionable brains with no counterpoints allowed, they win. This isn’t about ‘protecting children’ – a fact abundantly clear given how many of those who decry comprehensive sex education are themselves guilty of manipulating and molesting children who were never taught ‘satanic’ things like bodily autonomy, or that their priest DOESN’T speak to or for God, particularly when that priest is only wanting inside their underoos.
The religious right wants to molest our children, mind, body and soul. The kind of Christianity they cling to is an abomination and a despicable lie that deserves nothing so much as a cleansing fire…

Please don’t bring out the pink pitchforks but in a VERY SMALL way I kinda sympathize with this guy. I’m only 34 and even I find myself sometimes wishing things could go back to how they were in the 90s on SOME things because life felt more innocent and easier to understand back then than it does now sometimes. Definitely not saying I want what this guy wants but I get where he’s coming from, he’s like a lot of the older generations who feel like life has just passed them by and as they grew older and society rapidly shifted and changed they didn’t have the personality to keep up. Hell even at my age I’m frequently finding myself scratching my head at how sensitive the younger generations seem these days and I find myself wishing to be able to go back to the 90s when it didn’t feel like every little thing had to be filtered and ultra pc like it does now or we risk offending some random person somewhere in the world who just can’t cope cuz they weren’t taught how to. So I don’t support this dudes thinking, but sadly I understand it,

“at my (your) age”…. give me a break! If you are 34 now then you were born in 1985. The 90’s ended in 2000 and you were 15 then! Were you a hot little twink? I love it. My first queer sex was getting a bj thru a glory hole in the greyhound bus station when I was 13. I shot so much down the dude’s throat, he choked, coughed and vomited!

Chupacabra –
literally “goat-sucker”; from chupar, “to suck”, and cabra, “goat”. So basically you are an animal into sucking animals?
No fool! he “choked, coughed and vomited” because he got a glimpse of what a morbidly obese truly disturbing repulsive looking troll you are….
You really need to stop this inane obsession with myself and ChrisK. Pretty sure I speak for both of us. We don’t do troll….You seriously need to attempt to get a life! waddle out of your filthy lair in Mommy’s basement and try piglet!

PWWO: hehehe

I appreciate your thoughtful contribution. Objectively, I can see how difficult it is for the straight, christian white guy to adjust to a world that forces him to recognize different people. And I don’t say that sarcastically nor in a pointed manner. That being said, like you or I, failure to or refusal to evolve with the changing times is a choice. We all have to make it; otherwise, you could end being just like Roy Moore, the old guy yelling at the clouds. As queer people, we are forced to make difficult decisions and face numerous uncomfortable situations. So I have zero sympathy because the guy who never had to do the same can’t adjust. He can hold hands with the rest of his ilk and jump off a bridge for all I care.

Funny. People were complaining in the sixties about how immoral it was then compared to now.

A very simple question . . . How can you hate someone you can see and love someone you can not see? YOU CAN NOT! You can not. I do no care how you try to phrase it. you are wrong, dead wrong.

Ahh a time when you could date. 14 year old and people would just look the other way.

Moral times??? As I recall everyone was cheating on their spouses, especially in the red states (Which pretty much has been proven true even today). So this so-called “Christian” isn’t really very Christian at all. Like most they are that in name only and NOT practice.
