SILENCE = YES!

Sex-Ed Will Lead To “The Rape Of Childhood,” Protestors Claim

Screen shot 2015-06-29 at 5.09.09 PMA gaggle of concerned parents and grandparents in Ontario really, really, really, do not want sex-ed being taught in their local schools. So they’ve taken to the streets in protest.

Around 50 people crowded the streets of Echo Bay, a township in Algoma District, Ontario, waving signs that read “The Rape of Childhood,” “Silence = Yes!,” and “No Porn In Our Classrooms.”

They were protesting a new proposed curriculum that would teach third graders about homosexuality and gender identity, and seventh and eighth graders about oral and anal sex, as well as contraception and STD prevention.

Rhoda Slagel, a retired schoolteacher and grandmother of four, feared that teaching children “explicit sex acts” will “encourage kids to go in a way that a lot of parents don’t want their children to go.”

But it was Paul Mathewson, a grandfather of three and organizer of the protest, who cut to the heart of the matter when he said that Ontario is suffering “a gradual shift from Judeo-Christian understanding of life to secular humanism.”

He fears that teaching kids the truth about sex will eventually lead to the complete downfall of Christianity.

Said he: “There was a time when the church was the conscience of society, the conscience of what’s right and what’s wrong. That’s shifting now. The whole idea of establishing what’s right and wrong, establishing values, has shifted from the church to the politicians!”

Sorry, Saint Paul, look no further than Bristol Palin to see what happens when kids are not educated about sex.
