Egerton stars as out music icon Elton John in the upcoming biopic Rocketman, and he says he “threw” himself into his first ever sex scene.

And while he didn’t mention who his scene partner is, all signs point to Bodyguard and Game of Thrones actor Richard Madden, who plays John’s former boyfriend and manager John Reid in the film.
That’s quite a pairing.
He told MTV: “I really threw myself into it, I filmed my first sex scene for this film and it’s with quite a well-known man.
“I do feel the movie we shot is absolutely a celebration of everything that Elton John is and part of that is his sexuality.
“I actually think the gay community will be quite surprised by quite how gay it feels. I loved every second if it.

“I’m not someone who is remotely perturbed by male intimacy and I am quite proud of what we’ve done with it. We really went some places with it.”
Rocketman follows John’s rise to stardom in the ’60s and ’70s and arrives in theaters in May 2019.

To me, it’s just great that they are making the movie. Actors get paid to act, gay, straight or whatever they are. Remember what happened to the movie about the trans person that Scarlett Johanssen was going to make, there was a great uproar of it had to be a trans actress, or was it actor, I forget. But since she backed out where is that project? So maybe someday they will get it financed and have a trans actor/actress play the part, meanwhile, no one gets to see the story. So we did what the old folks would have called, “cutting off our nose to spite our face”. Stop worrying about which actor is playing which part, it makes main stream Hollywood back off and then nothing gets made. Okay, call me names for wanting more movies about the LGBTQ community, without caring who the actor is.
