This just in: Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black are having a baby.
Daley made the announcement this morning on his Instagram page with a photo of the pair holding up an ultrasound image along with the caption: “HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!”
Black followed that up with his own post sharing another photo along with the caption, “A very happy #ValentinesDay from ours to yours.”
Daley has hinted at the couple’s plan to start a family in the past.
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
Last July, he told the Belfast Telegraph, “Lance and I definitely want a family in the future–who knows when? We’re both lucky to have supportive families and we want to share that with our own children.”
Congrats to the dads-to-be!

Congratulations to the couple!
So lets see, the GOP anti-lgbt trolls need to attack this because they need to find an excuse to attack ANY semblance of lgbts having a life, so which tactic will they take? If they’re really desperate I’m sure they’ll just start screaming about Hillary’s e-mail.

If after reading that article and that’s the first thing that comes to your mind, then you seriously need help

Congratulations to the future dads!
Cheeky headline there, Queerty.
PRINCE OF SNARKNESS aka DIVKID
Years of spoon feeding, dribbling and changing diapers — rather you than me, Tom! And then you factor into the situation a baby too
ProfessorMoriarty
I see that your screen name is well earned, Prince. Well played, well played indeed.

God, I hope Tom ages well. Dustin is a lover of beauty, I hope he doesn’t discard Tom once he loses his boyish and adorable looks.
ChrisK
He’s going to have to because Dustin has never been with anyone over 25.
Paco
I just want to see what Dustin looks like without a blur filter and makeup when standing next to Tom in a bright light.
ChrisK
Isn’t Dustin a bit long in the tooth to be doing this? He’ll be in his 60s when the kid graduates high school.
startenout
Wow, that’s a very ageist, dick thing to say. My mom was 50 when I was born and 68 when I graduated HS and in her 70’s when I graduated college. She was there and supportive. Don’t define others by your negative view of the world.
ChrisK
Here’s a fact. Most people in their final golden years want the retiree life. Plus, raising a kid is made for younger people.
ChrisK
As in well into it..

One of them is having a baby. The other is just there. Where is the woman, by the way? Is she invisible? Is her uterus cloaked in darkness?
OzJosh
Possibly, yes. “She” may be a surrogate with a uterus for hire. It’s not at all unusual these days. If that’s the case there will be a contract and a payment that all parties have agreed to. Or it’s a selfless friend or relative who may or may not intend to be present for the child as a mother. The assumption that something is hidden or somebody is being exploited is baseless, and therefore clearly designed to whip up controversy where there is none. Hope that settles your feverish mind.
Brian
You really think a 3 parent scenario is the norm in this situation? Stop being a moron.
scotshot
Surrogates may run $90,000. – 250,000. the figure varies by medical costs and the country.
Your hero Trumpf’s “porn star/ prostitute” was paid $130,000 – $135,000. to keep her quiet.

Who’s the daddy?
Donston
Wasn’t DLB just complaining about how difficult marriage is and how frustrating it’s been that they spend so much time apart? Bringing a baby into the equation at this time (after just a year of marriage) seems like a further complication. And I always feel more comfortable with same-sex couple adopting if it’s a possible.
But, congrats.
ChrisK
Reminds me of puppy mills. The fact is there are 107,918 foster children eligible waiting to be adopted but only half ever do.
tnguy222
As bad as it sounds, I rarely hear of adopted children achieving as much success as their parents.
You simply do not know what you are getting with an adopted child. Anyone who is willing to give up a child, or is unable to care for one, probably does not have very strong genes anyways.
Donston
Eh, sure. But not really.
My cousin was adopted and is more successful and probably just a better overall person and parent than his parents. I have a bio son and an adopted daughter. My daughter (though she’s still just seven) is a pretty smart and happy kid.
Stuff like that just comes off as an excuse so people don’t have to consider adoption.

I know people hate clickbait, but hat is off to this header!
Thomas92
Very happy for you both. Wonderful!
