Whoopi Goldberg prompted laughter on The View yesterday with a joke about Lindsey Graham… before producers made her clarify she was just making a “joke”. She then quipped “Maybe I should never do this show again.”
The View hosted White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre yesterday. She mentioned South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham’s new federal abortion bill.
Jean-Pierre pointed out Graham said just a few weeks ago that individual states should decide on abortion. Last week, he introduced a federal bill to limit abortion nationwide to 15 weeks.

Jean-Pierre said, “Senator Graham had said maybe about a month ago, early August, that he believes when it comes to marriage, when it comes to abortion, it’s for states to decide so Senator Graham, what changed?”
Goldberg then jumped in and said, “Maybe he’s getting married.”
This prompted laughs from the audience. Goldberg then added, “Do it quick because I know people are fooling around with our marriage rights, whoever wherever you stand.”

When the Supreme Court ruled on overturning Roe vs. Wade, Justice Clarence Thomas said that same-sex marriage may also need re-appraising. The Democrats are now trying to pass legislation to protect same-sex marriage at a federal level.

Rumors around Senator Graham’s sexuality have floated around for years. Goldberg’s joke was an obvious nod towards them.

Whoopi Goldberg: “I should probably never do this show again”
After a commercial break, Whoopi Goldberg addressed the camera, hinting that producers of The View had spoken to her and asked her to clarify she was making a joke.
“Before I do this introduction I need to make clear that I was doing what I do as a comic. Sometimes I make jokes, and it was a joke. Nothing more than that. I just got a whole conversation about people misunderstanding the joke,” she says, bewildered. “I mean, okay, I should probably never do this show again if this is what it’s coming to.”
Commentators online were mostly un-offended.
“I’m from South Carolina: it’s the best well-known secret in our ‘conservative’ state. Whoopi threw major shade. And I’m here for it,” said one.
“I hope The View didn’t make her apologize. That was a good shady dig, even the audience laughed. I’m so sick of cancel culture and faux outrage,” said another.
Of course, some right-leaning figures duly expressed outrage. Major Republican donor and TV pundit Dan Eberhart was among those to label Goldberg a bigot.

As usual, the ignorant, whiny, little brat Eberhart both misses the point and attempts (like most conservatives when they and their knuckle-dragging lot are called out) to create a false equivalency.
Whoopee’s statement was not attacking Graham for (likely) being gay. It was attacking his wildly hypocritical voting record on the subject.
For Eberhart make his comparison valid he’d need to name a Democratic politician who is as two-faced as Graham.

The title of the video does not go with the title of this post. And you should, for millions of light years, stop being with the Democrats for the following reasons: They are politicians who use the lgtbq community for popularity, when they no longer serve them (due to their very low popularity) the only thing the Democrats will do is change their names and blame gays like in the past the socialists did (like the ussr) or like the communists and capitalists have done (likeright wing and Biden’s past) or like the european religions and politics (french and italian) They are doing. They are all politicians and they lie they will use homosexuals and when they can they will spit on them and discard them especially when no one trusts them anymore. A very clear example is to see the duplicity of CNN that has a signal in Spanish. That channel is like Foxnews. It is against leftist policies in Latin American countries, it is against migration and promotes gringo greatness, the only thing that differs from Fox is in the hatred of Queen of MAGA aka Trump.
And on a more current note seeing the UN world leading clowns met gala, it’s splendid to see so much hypocrisy in one building. The leaders of the free world, who have never sanctioned or put the United States as a sponsor of terrorism and a disrupter of other countries, even when the Iranians criticized them in the assembly. The international press has only reported the poor death of a woman under the Iranian religious police, however, in a parallel relationship, a woman in a country with a Catholic and right-wing president in Latin America experiences the same situation but with much more corruption and the media communication do not encourage protests or ask for sanctions for the president of that country, Lasso. Although the international press is a great manipulator and liar, the UN clowns are much more shitty because they don’t even make people laugh. The false European slogan of the born of humanity, what humanity? The wars, the suprematism or the destructive British and Spanish imperial monarchies, those are humanity? The French president sucks, his speech was shit. European presidents in general are big fat shit. Followed by the worst host, the one who makes poltergeists with the ghosts, the Sultan Biden, who is not only concerned with lying but the message of the entire Western leadership is directly to go to war. Going through the pathetic Russian part, they are now engaged in propaganda just like the Western one. Now the question is why in the West they believe that if you die for the interests of the United States it is good (you go to heaven) and if you die for the East it is bad (you go to hell). Until today that is not a possibility. Almost a short time ago cures for HIV were shown, however to this day the failure of the Bidenwin Twitter account does not reflect any of that. And finally, the medicines with high prices that the Democratic administration stipulates to lower, is a confusion of terms to win vote. Now all they show is worse leaders. In that list, the first place of the worst leaders is Biden, in second place Putin and Zelensky and in third place all the European leaders. Sad but true, the best, better, great president on earth is the president of Mexico, he has tried to get along with all countries (including threats from the United States) including Russia, he has tried to increase the sources of employment and the security of his country.
