Cleve Jones has been hanging on to Harvey Milk’s famed bullhorn — which was used in the film Milk, and which Jones has used in public demonstrations — for years. But when the Harvey Milk Civil Rights Academy held a demonstration to protest budget cuts, one thing became clear: the bullhorn was missing. That’s because it remains in Jones’ Palm Springs home. Will he be willing to lend it to Harvey Milk Civil Rights Academy to celebrate California’s first-ever Harvey Milk Day on May 22? He says he’s willing to, but logistics will probably prevent it; Jones says has yet to have it appraised and insured, and wants to do so first. [BAR, Petrelis] [photo via]

Don’t do it Cleve. You’ll never see it again.

Hold it hostage Cleve and make some “demands” for money.
Give that money to your GetEqual demanders.
