Logo was supposed to be “the gay channel” for cable subscribers. But try to find one of these movies playing on that station. Good luck. More likely you’ll find a re-run of “Golden Girls” or “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”.

While many of the selections would be fun to watch with a date (with romance in mine)
I fail to see how Call Me By Your Name would qualify since the movie ends with his summer lover leaving to go marry a woman, not exactly the kind of upbeat romantic film to get you and your partner in the mood.
Nor is Shortbus…just way to much graphic heterosexual sex and angst ( I agree it’s a great film nonetheless, not exactly date worthy.)

North Sea Texas and The Way He Looks would be awesome date movies IMO.
You could add a couple of oldies. Big Eden and Latter Days.
Fair Haven and Closet Monster are newer and worthy.
A lot of gay guys like (500) Days of Summer staring Joseph-Gordon Levitt, who was also in Latter Days, though it is entirely about a straight dude. The movie is damn good.

Big Eden is a charming movie, who’s leads aren’t traditionally handsome. Very sweet. I was trying to think of the title “Latter Days”–also charming and a testament of how ‘love’ can change the selfishness of someone.

There are alot of gay movies TLA has a ton each month ..many at 9,99. .I would buy more yet most of the movie descriptions don’t state if they are subtitled or dubbed..I don’t want to take a chance and be disappointed its subtitled. If I wanted to read I’d buy the book
