“Girl yikes!”: Ariana Grande doesn’t suffer homophobic fools at her concerts

Ariana Grande and a homophobe

A homophobic preacher showed up to an Ariana Grande concert last weekend and she and her fans weren’t having any of it.

The singer is currently on the road with her Sweetener World Tour, where she played in Atlanta over the weekend.

Outside the venue, a man marched around wielding a rainbow banner with the word “Pride” crossed out. He was screaming into a megaphone, telling Ariana’s fans, “God wants you to repent!”

Someone captured the spectacle on video and uploaded it to Twitter, where it quickly got the attention of Ariana, who apologized to her fans.

The “thank u, next” singer wrote in a comment: “man… saddened but not surprised by this one bit. i’m so sorry any of my fans had to encounter this. we will do our best to ensure this doesn’t happen again. proud of u all for not fighting / engaging violently. never worth it. wishing him peace & a healed heart cause girl yikes.”

In a separate video uploaded to Twitter, Ariana fans can be seen cheering and shouting “goodbye!” as the man is escorted off the premises.

Unfortunately, things do end up taking a violent turn as one fan can be seen pouring a beverage over the man’s head as he packs up his microphone.

And according to at least one witness, another fan threw the man’s banner over a bridge, stole his headset, and tipped his speaker over multiple times.
