This is the story of two men literally sitting in a tree k-i-s-s-i-n-g.

National Geographic explorer Kevin McLean has dedicated his life to studying arboreal mammals by setting up video cameras in neotropical forest canopies and documenting their behavior.

On a recent trip to Panama, he brought his boyfriend, Dan, along for the treetop exploration. Unbeknownst to Dan, Kevin was planning to propose to him on the trip. And unbeknownst to Kevin, Dan was planning to do the same.
