Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene says she has reported late-show host Jimmy Kimmel to the Capitol Police.
In a monologue on his show yesterday, Kimmel highlighted Greene’s objections to Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson being confirmed for the Supreme Court. Greene has called anyone who supports Jackson, including some of her GOP colleagues, “pro-pedophile”.
Many on the far right of the GOP have pushed a narrative of overly Judge Jackson being lenient when it came to the treatment of sex offenders.

How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
After highlighting Greene’s stance, Kimmel asked, “Where’s Will Smith when you need him?”, prompting laughter from the audience. Actor Smith has dominated headlines after slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars last week.

Greene tweeted the clip, tagging ABC News: “@ABC, this threat of violence against me by @jimmykimmel has been filed with the @CapitolPolice”.
Kimmel himself was quick to respond, retweeting Greene with the caption: “Officer? I would like to report a joke.”

Greene’s original tweet has prompted over 16,000 comments. Many have highlighted the Georgia representative’s passionate defense of free speech, and her previous criticism of the Capitol Police following the Jan. 6 insurrection. She was one of 21 Republicans to vote against awarding the Congressional Gold Medal to police officers following the storming of the Capitol building.
Others reminded Greene of her own praise of Smith for slapping Rock.

So when you need the Capitol Police you run to them, eh?
As if they’ve just forgotten that you are the self-appointed champion & cheerleader for the domestic terrorists in jail for beating them with flag poles & fire extinguishers?
I doubt they’ve forgotten, Three Names.

The same @CapitolPolice that you voted against honoring?

Hopefully the Capitol Police laugh as hard as I am.

The Capitol police you voted against getting the Medal of Honor?

When not ranting about the expected confirmation of Ketanji Brown Jackson, Greene also took time yesterday to remind people she’s staunchly anti-trans rights. She tweeted “Either you are Pro-pedophile and Pro-transgender biological men or you defend children and women. Period. There is no other option.”
There is a line in the sand.

Yesterday, former President Donald Trump endorsed Greene in her reelection bid.
“She doesn’t back down, she doesn’t give up, and she has ALWAYS been with ‘Trump,’” the former president said in a statement through his Save America PAC.
“She loves our Country and MAGA, its greatest ever political movement. Marjorie is running for re-election to Congress, and has my Complete and Total Endorsement!”

It’s common knowledge that humor and intelligence are positively correlated…
..and this lady has no humor.
PS – how quintessentially Karen-esque to call the cops over something she sees on TV.
ZzBomb
“Pro-pedophile”????
Literally no one is “pro-pedophile” but I am beginning to believe there are likely more pedophiles in the GOP considering their rife history of accusing the other side of what they are doing secretly. Perhaps Cawthorn’s not wrong????
Mack
Well they do have to protect those right wing ministers, Priests and Gaetz don’t they making everyone think it’s the Democrats they have to worry about.

is this congress “woman,” who works out like a gorilla that’s only seen humans exercise on gym equipment on TV, really think she’s threatened???
OMG, these Republican morons in government really need to be expelled.

Another day for MTG to put on full display what an ignorant, dumb Karen she is. The fact that the GOP leadership says nothing confirms that they condone such idiotic speak and behaviour. Then again, it is their inbred base that identifies with it.
@GayForTrump, you MIA? The net still down in Mother Russia?

GOP is full of ret*rds.
I mean that sincerely.

Unfortunately America is also full/fool of ret*ards. That’s why they’re going to win Congress in the fall. I have two dumbass Republican brothers so I know whereof I speak.

This showboater does anything to feed the rabids at home: “haha she really owned the libs this time!” We have a handful of these clowns in Congress who aren’t serious about representing their constituents. Unfortunately, their constituents don’t mind.
Kevan1
MTG, Boebert etc. are Just attention whores. None of them really care about anything but being seen and talked about. They are jokes. Sad tired, old, saggy ass jokes.

I thought Calamity Taylor Greene was all about owning guns and such. I would expect her to be yodeling “I don’t need no stink in’ batches”, instead of running to the police madly waiving her noodle arms in the air like a blow up used car advertising balloon crying to have them save her from a joke. Calamity Karen
